Mi-HOTEL HEARTS SHINJUKU

Pros: Super clean, everything worked well, staff was nice, good location since you have keio new line, busses etc. For an alone traveler one of the best options if you wanna have a nice and comfy stay.

Pros: I forgot part of my packages at the apartment and they kindly sent it to my next destination. Lovely!

A very small apartment that was clean and in a great location - recommend for a short stay.

Pros: The location is great - a 20 min walk to shinjuku. The area is quiet at night and apartment was very clean.

Cons: There is barely enough space to stand between the bed and the kitchenette - makes using the kitchen equipment awkward.

Pros: - Great value for money considering the location, easy access to central Tokyo via Shinjuku from Hatsudai or Sangubashi. - New building so very modern, all appliances and shower etc. worked perfectly. Bathroom surprisingly spacious given the overall size of the room, helpful as a tall person I don’t often fit in Japanese showers. - I appreciated the straightforward checkin process, just being given a code to the room, and staff were communicative and helpful online.

Cons: - Room really was extremely small, it was just about manageable as a solo traveller with only a small case but there is really no floor space to put larger luggage. Space was taken up by a wardrobe that couldn’t be accessed anyway due to the folding table in front of it.

Pros: The place is cosy if a little small with 2 kids but we were there only to sleep so it was more than enough for us. Beds were very confortable and cleanliness, was remarquable.

Pros: It’s well located, and I think the owner is kind. The bed was comfortable. I think the space is very small, so it might take some time to organize everything, but I got used to it and had a pleasant stay. It’s a quiet place—I'm not sure if the walls are soundproof or if there was simply no one else there, but I never heard any noise.

Cons: That said, the room is extremely small. If you have a 25kg suitcase, it probably won’t fit lying flat on the floor, so keep that in mind. If you’re taller than 1.75m, you might need to angle your feet or bend your legs, since there’s a piece of furniture blocking the bottom of the bed. I’m 1.75m tall and just barely fit.

Pros: This tiny room has everything you need, including a washing machine in the bathroom. The location is perfect, with bus stops and metro stations just a few minutes away. I definitely recommend this place!

Cons: The only issue I had was that the mattress was a little small, and based on the bed frame, it could have been a bit bigger.

You already know it's small, but it is mighty

Pros: Great location if you're using to Tokyo transport - short walk to some minor train lines (from which you can transfer at Shinjuku), and good buses to Shibuya. Nearby neighbourhood very nice, good coffee shops, good restaurants, and a pleasant walk away to Yoyogi park. Despite size, the apartment is equipped with pretty much anything you could need (washing machine!) - however often in slightly atypical ways for space saving. Hosts have given decent translations for all devices in a guidebook, however might be a slightly harder stay if you can't read Japanese. Room contains detergent, dishwasher etc + toiletry packs. Goat was very fast to respond to questions, and did so in a clear and kind manner.

Cons: The room is exactly as tiny as it looks - it was a challenge to open my larger suitcase, though I could stow it under the bed most of the time. But you should know what you're getting into when you choose this. Maybe a bit too much stuff? It is convenient, but I somewhat feel some bits like the desk and the stove were unneeded esp for the space they take up. Bed wasn't that comfortable, but it's space saving so not a major complaint.

Great for solo

Pros: Very suitable for a solo traveller. The host was excellent at communication and provided constant, fluent feedback. Has all the amenities a solo traveller needs. Excellent location, 5 min from Sangubashi station.

Cons: A little small if you aren't used to it. Don't bring huge luggage because the stairs are narrow and there is no elevator.

Great Stay in Japan!

Pros: The room is a little small, but it's definitely great for me as a solo traveller! Everything is well prepared, clean and useful. and the best thing about this place is it's just 4-5 minutes walk from Hatsudai Station. I can also walk from Shinjuku Station to my hotel, it's great that the location is close to the stations.

Cons: Apart from being a little small, I don't find anything that I dislike.
