Authentic Tatami Quiet Night Ebisu

Highly recommend this place.

Pros: It’s our first time visiting Japan, and this is the place we chose as our first base—it couldn’t have been more perfect. Hiro was so helpful and was always there, ready to assist. I felt truly appreciated, and that alone made our first visit to Japan so meaningful. The place was also very spacious. There were three of us, and we still had plenty of room to unpack and pack our three large suitcases. The neighborhood was peaceful, with no noise at night, which was really nice for recovering after all the walking throughout the city. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of booking it.

Loved it!

Pros: Me and my sister had an amazing time at Hiro's place. It has everything you need. I was worried that a Japanese house in winter would be cold, but there were enough heaters and facilities. A step away from Ebisu station, there are tons of places to explore and relax. I would recommend here more than Shibuya or Ginza area as it is more relaxing but still in the center.

Pros: The location is very central but still quiet and residential with many nice cafes close by - the room is very cute

Exceptional stay right in the heart of Ebisu

Pros: Hiro and his team are incredible, accommodating hosts. The place is full of thoughtful details, from incredible quality towels, to how the kitchen was equipped, to the projector that was available for guests to use. It's a very clean and private space, there's only one other apartment on the same floor, and you don't ever see or hear other people. The place is exceptionally located in Ebisu, close to both Ebisu station and Daikanyama station, so you can be in Shibuya in under 15 minutes. The place has air conditioned, it's not cold in the winter. We stayed here with a toddler and had an amazing time! There's WiFi available, shower and bathroom are well equipped, and the washing and drying machines are available 24/7 for free. Absolutely recommended and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Cons: Everything was great! There's one flight of stairs to climb which was a minor inconvenience with the child, but Hiro was very kind to help us with the pushchair that we could leave on the first floor.

Comfortable, spacious and quiet

Pros: The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is located in a quiet residential area, whilst also having multiple train lines nearby. The futons were surprisingly comfortable, and the heater kept us very warm during our stay! Hiro and his team assisted us by carrying our luggage to our room for check-in, vice versa for check-out, and allowed us to store our luggage for our last day. Hiro speaks English very well and is always happy to assist with anything you need, as well as provide local recommendations. I will most definitely stay here again when I return!

Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Pros: We had such a lovely stay here! The apartment is in a wonderful location. The unit itself was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked for travelers: Water bottles in the fridge, snacks on the table and induction range, even a Netflix login near the bed. Hiro was a wonderful and accommodating host — he graciously granted our request to check in a day early after a last-minute change of plans. We're grateful for his flexibility.

Cons: Nothing significant! Just be aware that the shoji screens let in some light in the morning — if you're a light sleeper, perhaps be prepared to bring or buy a sleep mask.
