LANG HOTEL Ueno # free Breakfast

Funky small hotel. Great staff.

Pros: Good sized room with washing machine and kitchen. Worked well for our family of 4. Yummy Japanese-style breakfast.

Cons: Futons were a little thin. There were no glasses in the room apart from wineglasses.

Spacious and convenient.

Pros: The SIZE! Such a lovely accommodation to stay short or long stay. I can’t recommend it enough. Transportation/location is all few minutes away.

Pros: We loved our stay at Lang Hotel Ueno - it was perfect for our family of 2 adults + 2 teenagers. The location was amazing - just a short walk away from amazing dinner options and a variety of train stations. The room was clean and tastefully decorated and the staff were truly lovely people - especially the wonderful chef who cooked our delicious breakfast and the lovely barman we chatted to enjoying a dram of whisky. Would definitely recommend - great value for the price.

Cons: The only thing I can think is having a light at the room entrance would be good as it is a little dark when entering the room.

Convenient location, some small things needed

Pros: Location amazing with amenities and access to many train stations and options for dinner. Good breakfast.

Cons: Finding a bottle of water and coffee when arriving would be good as well as having the breakfast ticket all at check in without having to ask every day.

Pros: Really nice, new and clean hotel at convenient location. Was really quiet area aswell. Lots of space in the family room.

Cons: I didnt realize it while making the booking but the 2 bedroom “apartment” is one big room as there are no doors for the bedrooms (only simple sliding doors in one room that are see through and not private at all). Not an issue if you are okay to share the space, but might be a consideration if you want more privacy.

Pros: The Breakfast was great, Location brilliant, staff friendly, & decor very nice

Cons: That we were only issued 1 key ( a little annoying as we were 3 couples wanting to go in different directions around Tokyo) reception did accommodate letting us into the room, if we were the first couple back who didn't have the key but we were reliant on someone being at reception to facilitate this. there was a;so a very bad smell coming from the shower area ( like stale milk, we had to run the shower regularly and close all doors to the bath zone & open windows to air out the apartment each time we returned from being away, ( i assume a septic issue ??) . I also noted there was oil defuses in the room but these were empty to possibly disguise the smell??? might want to refill them and put some draino down the wastes

A comfortable, relaxing and convenient place to stay while in Tokyo, would definitely come back again. 😀

Pros: Location is in-between Ueno and Okachimachi stations, and walking distance to eateries and shops. Room is considered big for Tokyo and equipped with washing machine and a small kitchen, which comes very handy. Complimentary breakfast is good and staff are friendly.

Cons: The layout of the toilet and shower is in the middle of the room, so finds it a bit weird. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Cons: The shower tends to overflow, causing the rest of bathroom to be rather wet. On exitinv bathroom, there is a 1’ ‘lip on the step that may cause trips.
