Great homebase in Tokyo
Pros: Great spot for a homebase in Tokyo. Fantastic location walkable to lots of nightlife, food, activities, and train station connected to everything else. My partner and I stayed for a month and it got a bit cramped, but still had all the necessities for long stay; washing machine, balcony with clotheslines, serviceable kitchenette, sturdy desk and chair too. Definitely recommend if you want to stay longer in Tokyo, be close to all the action, but be tucked away with your own privacy.
Cons: Only thing really missing was a broom to keep the place swept up a bit.

Apartment living with walking distance from everything yet in a normal, quiet residential area
Pros: Stress-free easy stay in an apartment with all needed amenities. Much like a home, you can go and do as you please. Quiet and safe neighborhood, no problems. If you are prepared to do some DIY, this is the perfect choice. Excellent price and easy communication with the host.
Cons: No TV in the room and some normal signs of use (to be expected in an old building).

Lovely stay at OkuboZYZ
Pros: Perfect location, close walk to station, heart of Shinjuku and Okubo. Plenty of room space, nice hot shower and good air conditioning. Would book again with my partner.

Fantastic value for money
Pros: The room was nice and clean. Locality was really good with a calm and quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from cultural hubs like Shibuya or Ikebukuro, and right next to the Shin-Okubo Korea Town. Both JR and Tokyo metro stations are nearby.
Cons: One of the beds was equipped with a spring mattress, which was far from comfortable, but other than that the room was lovely.

Pros: Great place, very easy check in process and the host is very communicative. Really well located as well, quiet neighbourhood, but still close to the train station. Would book again.

Comfortable stay with a reasonable price.
Pros: The location is around 500meters away from the noise of the city. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet and gave us the needed comfortable rest after many hours of walk. The room fits 3 people perfectly, it is also equipped with basic kitchen necessities.
Cons: Upon check in, the cleaning lady insisted that we should stay at 103, we were initially assigned at 101 as indicated in our booking confirmation/message. Seems this mixed up brought confusion upon check out. After our advise of early check out, they opened the wrong room for cleaning (the room 101).

Very pleasant stay! Spacious room that is not expensive.
Pros: It is roomy for the price compared to hotels around Tokyo. The apartment is complete with sofa and laundry facility just outside. Perfect for long stay with small family The property owner is also nice and accommodating

Great stay!
Pros: Clean with a good quality bed. There's a conbini 3 minutes away, and a big park next to it. Between 10 to 15 minutes from the Shin-Okubo (Yamanote Line) station.
Cons: The neighbours were noisy, I could hear conversations through the walls. It didn't bother me but future guests might note the lack of fridge.
