Nice comfy stay with shops close by and local vibes.

Pros: Close to train stations, convenient store. Like the Japanese traditional bed tatami and the shower, very comfy.

Cons: Could hear noise from upstairs; appreciate if coffee and tea, chopsticks could be provided.

Pros: Location is excellent. Apartament is also good, good confort.

Cons: Cleaning on the luggage places.

I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

Pros: My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks in sept/oct 2025. The communications with the owner were very good and getting access to the apartment was straightforward. By Japanese standards it’s a good size for 2-3 people and is in a great location; 5 minutes from Shin Nakano station and 10 minutes from Nakano station. There are local convenience stores as well as coffee places a few minutes walk away. The apartment was very clean with amenities and utensils to cook if you prefer, although it’s so cheap to eat out we didn’t bother cooking. The shower was really good! There was storage space for 4 suitcases and overall it was a much better environment to live in for 2 weeks vs a typical Japanese hotel room. It’s located in a nice area on a main street which is well lit and feels very safe (in my experience Japan is a safe country). There are so many restaurants near the apartment as well, particularly around Nakano station and Renga Zaka.

Cons: By UK standards the towels were quite thin but you get used to them.

Great value for money for the experience

Pros: Great apartment in Japanese style with enough space for everything a couple may need when exploring Tokyo in September.

Fantastic stay in central Nakano location

Pros: It was in an ideal central location and close to Nakano and Shin-Nakano station. Meaning easy to get to locations like Shinjuku, Shibuya and Tokyo. It was very spacious and there was places to hang clothes up so not having to leave clothes in suitcases. You do sleep on the futon on the floor which might not be for everyone but found we got used to it pretty quickly. It was very clean, tidy and the bathroom/toilet were great! The owner was very friendly and very attentive as they gave me an iron when asked and replied very quick. If you would like a Japanese style apartment this if definitely a go too. Thank you!

Cons: The only thing was there is a slight light coming via the blinds but this didn’t bother us too much

Comfortable and clean apartment we enjoyed our stay here.

Pros: Spacious and clean, provided with washing detergents etc. nice local location and felt safe.

Cons: It would be nice to have more towels as they were very thin and one towel per person for 5 nights wasn’t enough. Also the pillows for sleeping were thin, so would be nice to have 2 pillows per person with pillow cases (the spare ones in the cupboard were not lined with pillowcases)

Pros: the location was perfect, close to both shin nakano and nakano stations only minutes away :D additionally, there was a small shopping mall with a few restaurants, as well as convenience stores And a grocery store that only took 3 minutes to walk to! the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the hosts were polite and very kind, despite never meeting them!! getting into the apartment was extremely simple, and all instructions for utilities such as the bath or the aircon were clearly explained in english and japanese, which was so polite of the hosts to do. the beds were traditional futon beds, and were not uncomfortable at all (quite large and well padded), there was also even a hammock to lie on whenever you wanted!!! the washing machine came with washing powder, and there was some body wash and shampoo in the bathroom (and there was a bath!!)

Cons: not much to say here -- if there's one thing i didnt particularly like it was the small space, as we were 3 teenage girls with lots of clothes and luggage it's unsurprising we ran into this problem. however, that's nothing crazy bad! all we did was a slight move around of some furniture (as we didnt want the luggage to get on the tatami mats, nor the furniture etc) and it was problem solved. since we were on the 2nd floor, we had to carry our luggage up a stairway, but it was quite easy for us so i wouldnt count this as a dislike, more like something you should note when you book this accommodation.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here as the place was spacious and the location was great

Pros: The size of this property was good and the location was great.

Cons: The pillows were very flat
