A very nice japanese apartment with an incredibly kind host which we would definetly visit again :)
Pros: Clean and cozy, japanese-sized place outside of central Toyko. Perfect for two people if you want to escape the Tokyo heat in the center for a while. It located in a very quiet and peaceful part of Tokyo, especially in the evening/night. The host was very kind and check in was absolutely no Problem. All instructions were sent a few hours before Check in. They even sent us a parcel with our clothes, which we have forgotten when we left, to our new hotel in Osaka :) Konbinis are all around the place (FamilyMart and 7-Eleven) as well as some vending machines and also the next big station (Akabane-Station) was only 15 minutes away by walking. You can also take the bus, which leaves right from the door and brings you to Akabane-Station in about 5 minutes.

Pros: Perfect if you are looking for an affordable place where you can be self sufficient and within reasonable distance from the city. Akabane station is a comfortable 10-15 minute walk away and from there you reach all major stations in central Tokyo in less than 30 minutes. The host is super friendly and will answer any questions you have quickly through the Booking app chat. No complaints.

Pros: Very affordable accommodation. If you're looking for a quiet place, it is great. The place is near a bus stop and there is a specialty coffee shop that is amazing.
Cons: It is a bit far from the main hub of Tokyo. Getting there can take 40-60 minutes of your time. Going back is the same too, so if you plan to visit many places and buy a lot of stuff, it will be a struggle. There is also no bidet on the toilet :( But it is not too bad.

A lovely suite for a traveling couple :)
Pros: We wanted a suite and we got a suite! It was well air conditioned and had all of the amenities of a suite like back home, and more! The washing machine worked well and there was plenty of space to hang stuff up with the provided hangers. The fridge worked well and right across the street was a Family Mart! Also a very quiet neighbourhood, it feels a little suburban, that kind of quiet. It is between two different train stations that we used to get into downtown Tokyo without issue. There is also a bus to the nearest station. I'd recommend this place!
Cons: It was about a 15 minute walk from the train stations and it's a four-storey walk-up. We were happy despite the tradeoff from walking though. And there were busses right outside too, they just didn't run at night.

Pros: apartment placed in quiet non-touristic area Typical residencial area Provident insight in everyday life of local residents just at the bus stop 5 minutes from Akebane station and neighbourhood Park with green reserve and skansen 5 min walk
Cons: Not in walkable distance from metro or train Very small bathroom. Can be inconvenient for person of big size. I am 170 cm high and was just ok.

Really usefully sited flat, good commuter connections in a friendly area.
Pros: The location was great, short walk to Akabane station which links so well with all the major Tokyo hot spots, the main train stations for other parts of Japan and to Haneda airport.
Cons: Flat was on the 4th floor and there is no lift. Not an issue for me even with full luggage, but could be for someone.
