Akabane TK Building 101

Overall, it was a pretty good deal but definitely be aware of the slope.

Pros: 1. Location. Akabane is only a couple of stops from Tokyo Station and Shinjuku. 2. Facilities. The heater, microwave, fridge, hot water, everything worked perfectly. 3. Convenience. I do like how the room is on the ground floor. Since there isn’t an elevator, we didn’t have to worry about bringing our luggage’s up and down the stairs which were quite narrow. 4. Cleanliness. Unlike as stated as per previous reviews, the accommodation was not dusty and was rather clean. 5. Communication. The host did a great job communicating everything we needed to know and was prompt in answering my questions over chat. One review stated that the host had knocked on their door at 9:30AM to remind them of the 10AM checkout and had waited outside their door until 10AM to make sure they checked out on time. Our flight was at 2:35PM, so we checked out at 9:30AM. We didn’t experience anyone knocking our door or waiting outside our door until we checked out.

Cons: 1. The slope. I had previously read reviews about the cruel slope that makes you ‘question your existence’ so we were mentally prepared. We each had at least 1 big luggage and a small carry-on luggage. Yes, that slope is pretty steep so pulling and pushing a big luggage up that slope is hard work. I did have to take a rest halfway but my brother and boyfriend did alright. To be fair, my stamina sucks so I did see this coming haha. It’s a physically challenging slope with a big luggage but it’s definitely doable. The only challenge was going uphill with luggage upon check-in. After that, we were completely fine. I wouldn’t recommend for the elders though. My brother, boyfriend and I are in our 20s so we were fine.

Lovely stay in a great location

Pros: Checking in and out was a breeze Location was good, the hill mentioned in other reviews is very overexaggerated and wasn't that bad (although I live in a very mountainous country so I'm used to hills). Either way it's something that wont bother you after a couple days of walking up it Room was quite spacious and facilities did everything we needed them to, overall good experience

Cons: Bed's were a little stiff/uncomfortable initially, but got used to them over a couple days

Pros: 10 min walk from Akabane station, surrounding by necessity shop.

Pros: Room Clean and More convenient equipment, bathroom separate with toilet is very good/ ☺️

Cons: Can't send mail to booking.com ,I don't why?

Comfortable but located on a hill

Pros: Comfortable, complete equipments, near station, near a halal restaurant

Cons: Washing machine located outside, the property located on a hill. So tiring when you bring many heavy luggage
