COTO Tokyo Sugamo

A accommodation that felt like home. So lovely. So comfortable.

Pros: Superb location. One of the lines was the Yamanote Line ( direct to Tokyo / Shinagawa ) plus point if you’re traveling via Shinkansen elsewhere. Also direct to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno, Akihabara and Harajuku! If you’re coming from Narita will be Keisei Skyliner > Keisei Nippori > Yamanote line > Sugamo, so convenient! Tucked in a quiet area, no cars passing by. Tons of food places around. Lovely place really!

Cons: Hair dryer was too weak haha

I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Pros: This is a fantastic apartment in a quiet neighborhood. The Yamanote Line train is about a five-minute walk through the quiet but vibrant streets of the Sugamo district. This train takes you everywhere. It's close to the city center. The apartment is very, very clean, and we felt very safe there. It has everything we need for a multi-day stay. The hosts are very caring and asked several times if they could be of assistance. I wholeheartedly recommend it. If we're ever in Tokyo again, we'll definitely stay there again.

Cons: We liked everything.

Gem of a place.

Pros: Lovely accommodation, really well prepared with all amenities required. Having a freezer and washing machine was super helpful. Check in instructions were very clear, photos were very helpful! The bath and shower option was a luxury along with the air conditioning. The tatami mat flooring and futons were authentic and helped to feel the holiday. Also plenty of usb plug sockets was fantastic. Plenty of space in the house and having separate toilet and shower was useful too. Location was great, easy access to the trains, high street and food places. Also lots to see in the local area. Very quiet, residential area was so peaceful. Hosts were great at communicating information and checking we were ok. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cons: Great info for washing machine, TV and check in info on dining table - instructions for the hot water system would have been even better. We got it going but pressed a lot of random buttons to start with!

Pros: The size of the apartment was impressive. Very clean and comfortable. When I accidentally disconnected the modem the staff were very responsive. Overall a great stay in a nice area..

Best stay in Tokyo!!!!!

Pros: The apartment is so nice and clean and pretty big for Tokyo standards. We went with a baby and they prepared for us a small futon, a diaper changer and a baby chair. The futon were also incredibly comfortable despite an occidental could think.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect. If I have to mention something is that is a bit far away from the closest metro (15 minutes walking). But is literally nothing for Tokyo

Amazing, all clean, people nice, good location!

Pros: The old style Japanese house mixed with the new environment made the experience awesome! I have nothing to say but good things! Unfortunately we haven’t had the chance to use the kitchen there but if you can there is all you need to make some dishes! Everything was perfect. Also, we needed more information about or stay and the property was more than helpful giving us some tips and notions. They reply very quick and are so nice! I hope to come back soon.

Great accommodation

Pros: It was very clean and the futon was super comfortable. Good location, it takes you around 10 minutes walking to get to the yamanote line, there’s also a bus stop nearby. Quite area with several places to eat. The host is very friendly and attentive to make sure everything is okay. I definitely recommend this accommodation!

Pros: I like that the house has all the amenities included. The tatami style bedroom was very conducive to stay in.

Cons: Quite a distance from the train station, but the place is still worth it!

Big recommend for family

Pros: We traveled with a 5mo baby and found this place very comfortable. Though this place does not have a baby bed, the tatami-floored bedroom is in general safe as there is no worry that baby might fall. There is a laundry machine and the bathroom has a dryer for laundry. The property is located in a very nice neighbourhood. It has easy access to many other places in Tokyo, but still tranquil. The Sugamo area around is interesting itself. From our experience, it is sometimes hard in Tokyo to find an apartment in a convenient and quiet neighbourhood.

Cons: It would be great to have chopsticks.
