GOOD DAY Shinagawa HOTEL

Pros: We booked this accommodation before any reviews were available and we were so glad we took the risk. Jane is so welcoming and her home had everything we needed for a family of 5. I was a little worried we might feel cramped, but the space is well designed and we were able to eat around the table together. It's a very convenient location, but a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. I felt like we got to experience 'real Tokyo', not just the touristy parts. Highly recommend staying here.

Pros: Cozy, clean and had all of what we needed. Information about what is good nearby (especially the ramen place, it was very good). Host also provided many information about directions to the train station and even for our travel to another city.

Pros: Jane was super nice and gave us many recommendations for local places to eat and shop. She was also very accommodating when we messed up our booking

It was excellent

Pros: We had a great stay at this hotel in Japan. Although it is a small property, the room was very spacious and fully equipped with a washing machine, laundry area, kitchen facilities, oven, microwave, and complete cookware, making it easy to prepare meals. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the host (Jane) was extremely kind and attentive. We accidentally left an item behind, and the host contacted us promptly and kindly arranged to return it. Highly recommended for a comfortable and well-cared-for stay.

Great host

Pros: Very spacious room, especially the bathroom! We were very impressed with the facilities and the host Jane was amazing. She gave us great recs and walked us through everything, definitely recommend!

Cons: The exit sign was very bright in the middle of the night but it was okay.

Fantastic accommodation

Pros: Fantastic facilities with all the things you need, plenty of space, close to the train station. The room was lovely and very homely. The host was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. We loved the place and will be back. Thank you fir a great stay.

Amazing stay at GOOD DAY Shinagawa Hotel!

Pros: Everything was spotless — the room was perfectly clean, the equipment modern and in great condition, and the bathroom was absolutely incredible. It’s surprisingly spacious for one person and really good value for the price. Jane, the owner, is incredibly kind and attentive — always available if you have any question or need help. I also had dinner at the sushi restaurant on the ground floor, and it was a real experience — truly exceptional! (Tip: ask Jane before going so the chef knows an international guest is coming — he’ll take great care of you.) Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely come back! 👍

Best hotel stay we ever had

Pros: Our stay at GOOD DAY Shinagawa Hotel was, no exaggeration, the best hotel experience we ever had. The accommodation provided everything we needed and more for a fantastic price. And most of all, our host was the loveliest and kindest person. She recommended us tons of great places and even took us to amazing restaurants. She cares so much about her guests and we cannot wait to be back when we visit Tokyo again!
