Pros: It was clean, recently renovated, and very quiet, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing.

Cons: I didn’t like the fact that there was no elevator, which was inconvenient since we were staying on the fourth floor and had heavy suitcases to carry. The staircase was also quite narrow, making it even more difficult. Additionally, the surrounding area didn’t offer many options for restaurants or places to go out for a drink.

Quiet Kuramae - let’s help keep it this way fellow tourists!

Pros: Location. Clean brand new apartment, well equipped with excellent laundry facilities! Host is really helpful. Quiet location and neighbours.

Cons: Nothing except we are old so the stairs felt longer than they actually are at the end of the day!

Clean, friendly, easy access, roomy

Pros: Super clean and organised. The host was lovely and very helpful with suggestions. Enjoyed being out of the busy area, but did need to travel a bit to get places.

Cons: Just being a little fear away, otherwise perfect!

Pros: Great small apartment with plenty of space for three. Everything was clean and new. It was a great stay in this apartment hotel. In a calm neighborhood with good restaurants close by. 10 min walk from Kuramae and 20 min walk to Asakusa area.

Cons: The futon on the tatami was too thin so we slept on the bed sofa instead. The other bed was comfortable though.

Pros: This was our second time to stay here. We loved to stay here again. My husband is a tall western guy but he found comfortably sized space. The location is excellent. We walked different streets every day, and we found local bars, restaurants, and shops close to where we stayed. We can stroll to JR Okachimachi station and Ueno station or an easy bus ride. There is a good supermarket nearby. We stock up our food supplies from there. We also loved the room layout. It is compact, but there is a separate space for bedroom and living room with slidingdoor, so when one of us wakes up early, we don't disturb each other. The bathroom is excellent. There is a bathtub and shower. There is a washing machine, and the bathroom has an excellent setting to dry washing. We stayed 8 nights this time, and we used it very often. Overall, this place was excellent for our stay.

Cons: It would be good if they provided a bathmat. There wasn't any, so we used a hand towel to wipe our feet when we came out from the shower. There is a compact but nice kitchen facility, but utensils are limited. We cooked pasta one night, but there wasn't a colander. It would be nice to have more utensils (e.g. spatula) for cooking. Also we would like to have tea towels to dry dishes. We couldn't watch local TV channels as there was no cable to connect the TV to the antenna socket, which we could see on the wall.

Spacious, Comfortable Stay in a Quiet Area

Pros: The apartment was incredibly spacious, clean and modern, and located in a quiet neighbourhood. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer, and the stay was very comfortable overall. It was also in a great spot—just a 2-minute walk to a fun chopstick-making class, and close to convenience stores, coffee shops and train stations.

Cons: The only downsides were that the apartment became dusty quite quickly, and there was no vacuum to manage it. The bathroom filters could use a clean, and we didn’t have a bath mat. Adding pillow protectors would also make the stay even better.

Pros: Quiet neighborhood. The appartment was tasteful and spotlessly clean. Happy and help host.lication was close enough to trains etc, once you got your bearings.

Cons: 5 flights of stairs with a bad knee. Maybe there was warning of this and I missed it. No cups or mugs for tea and coffee.

7 night stay review

Pros: + Microwave, washing machine (detergent and softener), big rooms, the bed in the living room is firm (my preferens), the fridge (big enough for us to put our grocery shopping), AC, bed sofa (did not sleep on it but great to sit on and watch tv), shower is great (shampoo, body wash and conditioner), quiet area, close to super markets and convenience stores (at least to us), there were plates, glas etc, it was close to train stations (at least to us).

Cons: - Only one big and small towel per person, there was no indoor slippers that were big enough for us to wear, the bidet did not work but the toilet itself worked (it was on trial mode, the light was red and it took a few days to figure out how to get it to work), the toothbrush felt super cheap and there was no toothpaste (but we could buy ones from the supermarket), the room where the toilet is located is very small, the apartment became dusty real quick and we would have loved if there were cleaning items in the apartment (it was not very pleasant after 3-4 days and we stayed 7 nights), extra sheets would have been great so we could change them ourselves (great for longer stay).
