Good price and Great location

Pros: Great location, great price and a warm service. Loved that you could leave your luggege there for a fee if you come back. Very comfi bed.

Cons: The rooms need some upgrading and the room is small but it like that almost everywhere in Japan.

great location and really lovely staff

Pros: really great location - lots of convienence stores close by. Ikebukuro is such a nice town and the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the station with access to lots of different lines. Really great amenties - clean kitchen, hair dryers, umbrella.

Cons: i was staying in a dorm room - the bunk beds were pretty crap. I had someone below me and every move made the bed shake so much. Also, i had breakfast included - it was toast and coffee. for free its fine but not a lot of choice

Pros: Great location, ikebukuro is easy to access. The hotel is pretty close to the west exit. Since it's an hostel/ hotel, it's easy to meet other people from around the world. Keep in mind, that it's a low budget hotel, dont expect anything fancy. When you are outside most of the time, that's OK anyways. Very friendly staff. I stayed like 16 years ago and 2025. Made some good memories there.

Lifesavers

Pros: The staff went above and beyond and even helped me manage a total travel meltdown. Feather pillows...the best! Helpful and they make such an effort to actually be helpful and nice. Not just polite and then flat out rude to tourists. I know they can be painful (tourists) but that does not excuse the flat out rudeness of SOME in Tokyo...working in tourism. Arigato 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Cons: Beds quite firm but I found this to be an issue for me all through Tokyo and I have a crappy back.
