Good Diner Inn Copain

Pros: Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location is close to many great locations. I'd stay there again :)

Pros: So cheap for such a good location, very comfortable near Ikebukuro station with all the trains and metro, clean and with nice services and spaces! Also very quiet. The bar at the first floor is very good too 😉

Good value for a fun and different solo trip experience

Pros: Location a bit away from the center of city, making it a perfect spot for relaxing after a day of activities in town as there is less noises. Make sure not to forget to bring your own amenities as they only provides shampoo and soap but otherwise it's a nice place if you're looking for a dorm-like hostel experience

Cons: The wi-fi connection isn't very stable, I had to revert back on using my mobile connection sometimes because I couldn't access the internet

Pros: The place is immaculate, comfy beds with a real mattress, amazing shower, great location.

Cons: No staff around to ask any questions.

Over all is good

Pros: Good place close to the station. Good price and you can leave loggage there it very nice. no problem with self check in.

Cons: But the room is combine with shower and toilet so it is quit noise at night. And early morning when the sunrise it will be bright.

Pros: The staff were very reactive when I made a mistake on my booking.

Cons: The wi-fi was very week but that was inconsequential overall

Pros: The beds were very comfortable. The facilities were immaculate and the location was great.

It is a good place for its price.

Pros: The property is close to Ikebukuro train station. The beds are okay. The lobby room is nice, there are fridge and microwave. My friend wasn't feeling well and they allowed her to stay in bed after checkout.

Cons: The rooms are very small. There is almost no private space for items besides bed.

Very well priced and very great stay!!

Pros: I absolutely LOVED my stay here. The days I stayed, it was only me and one other guest so the entire dorm was empty. The price was incredibly reasonable, only a 20 minute walk from the main city of Ikebukuro, I will absolutely say here again. I am amazed that the place wasnt fully booked. The staff were also very friendly and gave me a hand to take my heavy suitcase down the stairs and outside.

Hidden gem!

Pros: We started and ended our 2.5 week holiday in Tokyo. This hostel was so good that we booked it again for our return. Ikebukuro is an awesome area with less tourists and such great stuff to discover. GDIC is great value! Highly recommend if you want to spend your dollars on Tokyo experiences instead of blowing it all on accommodation. Check out the awesome shopping complex rooftops nearby with gardens, food, drinks.

Cons: Needs more cutlery... or maybe I just never found it
