Hostel Lodging Tokyo Uguisudani

We had a great stay. No bed bugs at all!

Pros: Near JR and local train. There are convenient stores nearby. We booked the twin economy room and the size is reasonable. I love that there are lots of windows! No issue with the mattress, no bed bugs at all! Love the common area, it's pretty spacious. There are water dispensers, fridge, microwave and stuff. We can store our luggage before and after check in. They change towels everyday! Room, CR, sinks, shower and common area are all clean! They have a coin laundry on the top floor and we can hang our clothes on the terrace. For price is cheaper than the other hostels. Overall, we loved our stay!

Cons: The only downside is that there's no elevator. We had to carry our luggage in the stairs and our room is on the 4th flr.

good for short stay

Pros: satisfied for the price, no much options available during cherry blossom season so it was ok, good location, rooftop for the laundry, lockers in the room. mattress thin so the bed its kinda hard. few shower available, but wasnt a problem. lot of things broken ( sinks, water fontains, door lock... ) but they fixed the water fountains during my stay so maybe they work on fixing the broken stuffs, im not sure.

Great location, very clean, would recommend. Just had noisy guests when we stayed unfortunately

Pros: Location, capsule bed setup, curtains on bed, clean facilities

Cons: Snoring neighbours (out of hostels control) but we did not get much sleep at all for our whole stay :(

Pros: The bathroom was clean and as was our room!! Stayed in 201 and there were no bedbugs which was a huge plus considering the recent Google reviews !!! Would 100% stay here again!!!

Cons: Was sometimes a little bit loud early morning or late at night which was a little inconvenient.

All in all my stay was excellent and will definitely recommend this place.

Pros: I got colds and sniffles during my stay due to extreme winter cold and the japanese lady staff gave me medicine for free.

Cons: I stayed for an entire week and my bed could’ve benn cleaned at least a few times during my stay. But that wasn’t much of a problem, just saying.

Pros: Everything was super pleasant about the hostel and made friends with the staff on site. I really liked spending time in the public area and chatting with different people. Kenya taught me a lot of Japanese culture and customs. Thank you very much!😊

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect.

Pros: Location near metro, clean toilets, enough shower rooms with all toiletries, free washing machine and roof to dry clothes , this hostel was just great

Comfortable stay for a low price

Pros: What a price for such a central place to stay! And close to Ueno station too. Very nice pillow and duvet, and shower and other facilities were easily accessible and clean. Bonus points for the rooftop drying possibility after using the coin laundry machine, and being able to see out across Tokyo. A lot of information was available in English, even if some of it was a bit weirdly translated. There are emergency escape tools available for the windows.

Cons: There was no staff, except at cleaning times, and so the check-in was a little hard to figure out. But not impossible! There is no elevator, but the stairs are easy to ascend and descend even with bags.

Pros: The location is quite good, near the station. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. I reached there early as my flight landed early, so they allowed me to sit in the standard room; that's so nice of them.
