Great location & price

Pros: Great location close to Ueno station. We booked this last minute and got a great deal for 1 night. Staff were pleasant and helpful. They were able to store our luggage after checkout which was really nice!

Cons: Beds were too firm and the room was dusty. It fit 2 of us well but any more people would have been difficult with luggage. A short stay was fine but a long term stay would have been challenging.

Perfect place to stay for a night, maybe more.

Pros: Very clean, free wifi, cafe on the ground floor and a 2 minute walk to Ueno Station

Cons: Toilet and shower were a little cramped, but still very clean

Pros: +location, level 6 is exclusive for ladies. level 1 has a pantry area. shower rooms are quite basic but bigger than expected

Pros: A great hostel for visitors using the nearby Ueno train station (Iriya exit)

Cons: There is limited space in the bedrooms, prepare an overnight bag before checking in or in the lobby area

Pros: Clean, lots of room, quiet, easy to get to, lots of food options close by..

Cons: For me the bed could have been a little more springy or softer but my 3 older kids said they were super comfortable.... So just a personal preference

Pros: Everywhere is so clean. I book girl’s room, the floor is all the girl’s room, I feel super safe. If you want to use dry hair, the place you can used it, don’t worry about to noise your roommates. Lovely. If I travel Ueno again, I will book Grids Tokyo Ueno Hotel again. Lovely place.

Pros: Every visit to Tokyo i am staying here, i recommend to take this place. Ueno station nearby, all shops and restaurants here, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, always ready to help, downstairs you can take drinks, eat, make your own event. Every my visit here was amazing, i am planning to come back here at summer.
