Sakura Cross Hotel Akihabara

Easy, cost effective, clean & automated

Pros: The hotel is very nice, automated and efficient… great layover stay walking distance to the station

Cons: I received 22 emails from this hotel, I stayed 1 night… just automated emails again and again… they could definitely fix this up

Fantastic stay for a large family looking for a convenient location for travelling to the city.

Pros: The room size was spacious enough for a family of 6 and 7 suitcases. The location was very convenient with local subways and JR a few minutes walk away from the hotel entrance. The kids loved the Family Mart and convenience stores a couple of mins walk away for early breakfasts or late night snacks. The food court in Yodobashi Akiba building has many options for family dinners and is also a five minute walk. Hotel rooms are clean and very quiet. The beds are extra comfy too.

Perfect for a city break

Pros: Staff were super friendly and helpful Room had everything we needed, it was a bit small but that's expected in Tokyo Beds were super comfortable Great location and transport connections

Cons: Noise isolation could be better, especially considering that it's right next to a major intersection Some mould in the bathroom and damp in the bedroom ceiling from the room above Shower didn't drain properly

Amazing place, we loved it

Pros: Really good location and lovely staff! They were very accomodating, letting us leave our bags after check out. We were a group of 5 guys and there was plenty of space, really recommend the stay

Great location, perfect size and design for a family of five.

Pros: It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It’s a light, bright, compact yet comfortable apartment with a view of urban life. We found the location to be perfect for our needs, very close to three major train lines. The beds were spacious and very comfortable. Soft but not too soft. The linen clean and fresh. We all slept really well. The lighting design is very good too. Lots of options for gentle ambience as well as task lighting. We loved that the luggage lockers were so well placed and big enough for most of our suitcases. We were very impressed that the geyser provided for plenty of hot water for all five of us to have warm showers whenever we needed. And the aircon in the room helped us adjust from the cold outdoors to the warmer indoors without overheating

Cons: It’s lovely to have the toiletries provided. I think the only improvement would be to have a small amount of washing up liquid for washing up the cups.

Pros: Spacious sleeping area. Very good location thats quite near train station and Akihabara.

Cons: Small lift so need 2 trips to bring up 3 big luggages and 5 of us.

Amazing location, clean and comfortable

Pros: The location is perfect, near subways and stations. The shower is amazing and bed was very comfortable

Cons: The balcony isn’t usable and the room is a little small for two large suitcases but we didn’t struggle that bad.

Great little hotel

Pros: Great location and comfortable room with everything you might need.

Cons: Aircon was loud.

Comfy beds, lovely bath in a good location.

Pros: The location was brilliant, very close to a Family Mart. The beds were extremely comfortable and as there were three of us we all had plenty space in the room. We bought a fire stick and made lots of use of the projector in the room.

Cons: We stayed for 6 nights and were told every few days someone would come in change the towels and empty the bins, they came in and changed towels multiple times but didn’t empty our bin once during our stay, it was very obvious the bin was full and as the week went on we obviously had to put rubbish into our own bags next to the bin and it meant by the end of the week it smelled.
