Pros: Central location, right in front of the JR station
Cons: I had to go get the iron and iron board myself at the reception, and also returned myself downstairs instead of housekeeping assisting. Probably because of language barrier?

Pros: My friend and I stayed 24 nights and everything was perfect for us. The hotel was ideal for our sumo related holiday. Very near the station, loads of restaurants and the Kokugikan. Helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The staff even helped me with sending my shopping back to the UK and printing my Japanese homework. I will definitely be returning.

Try Staying in Ryogoku
Pros: Located right next to Ryogoku Station - many wonderful little eating establishments all around. We stayed for 6 nights and the bed & duvet were so comfortable.
Cons: Even though our corner room is at the furthest end away from the train tracks, you can still hear them. Didn't bother us but some folks may not like the faint rumble.

Handy and comfortable
Pros: We found this hotel very comfortable and the staff very helpful. I needed a bit of extra support due to a broken ankle. They communicated quickly and clearly prior to us arriving and ensured the room had what I needed to protect my injury. The rooms were small but we had space to make sure our large cases were not where I needed to walk with crutches. The hotel is just actoss the road from the train.

Good value for money. Will stay again.
Pros: We were three adults in a room. All beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed. While we did not eat at the hotel, there is an excellent cafe right downstairs for coffee, breakfast and lunch. The hotel location is excellent, right next to the Ryogoku Station and minutes walk to the Sumo Stadium.

Convenient & cosy stay suitable for a family of 4
Pros: The staff were warm and welcoming on arrival. Our room was well stocked with amenities- slippers, tea, hairbrushes, razors & shaving gel, hair ties, toothbrushes - and the beds were clean and comfortable. The mini hot dogs at breakfast were a real hit with the kids! Location was really convenient with a street full of restaurants close by and fire westerners a McDonaldβs across the road and 7-eleven close by too! If you have a JR train pass there is a JR station right next door.
Cons: The rooms were quite tight but as youβd expect in Japan. The room could have used a really good spring clean as the windows & sills were dusty & dirty and behind the desk was a mess.
