Great hotel, so clean and close to the train station
Pros: This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel and I love it, the area is nice and not very busy. The rooms always very clean, the beds are super comfy and the train station is so close. For the price you really can’t go wrong!
Cons: Nothing it was great.

Nice, comfort and convenient stay
Pros: The location of the hotel was just perfect, as the Otsuka station was just right crossing the road from the hotel, there were lots of eateries, convenient stores, restaurants and shopping mall nearby, you can get almost everything around the hotel, the hotel staffs were also very nice and helpful, they helped with checking out the train schedules for me, as I have to catch a very early morning train to the airport next morning.
Cons: The minus point was you have to climb up so many steps to reach to the hotel lobby/front desk while you’re carrying heavy luggages.

A great experience with friendly staff and a great location.
Pros: I loved the location and the price of the room was so amazing, people came and cleaned my room everyday so it was always clean.
Cons: I didn’t like the size of the room but for the price I had no room to complain.

Pros: Very convenient location, right next to Otsuka station, easy access to Ikebukuro (1 stop away) and other commonly visited places.
Cons: The lobby is on the second floor and the main entrance is through a flight of stairs. There's an elevator to the second floor, but you need to go through the back entrance for it. This was not much of an issue for me as I only had to use the elevator when carrying my suitcase during check in and check out, but if you're concerned about stairs, might want to take this into account.

Perfect for solo travellers
Pros: super close to Otsuka station, with a lot of amenities around that make it very convenient even late at night. On the Yamanote line so you can get to almost everywhere you need to in Tokyo with that and save money on train transfers. Hotel room itself was very clean with natural light and not too small, perfect for solo travellers!! also can leave your luggage in the lockers for free before check-in/after check-out, weigh your luggage with the measuring scale and also use the breakfast space after 10am (has charging points and tables).

Excellent value for money, heavenly bedding, and unbeatable location.
Pros: The location is unbeatable just steps away from the JR Otsuka on Yamanote Line (1 stop away from Ikebukuro). The check-in was fast the room was in comparable size to other budget hotel but the mattress was from Airweave which is a luxury Japanese brand make the sleep very comfortable. There are also different kinds of pillows and amenities available for free at the lobby including toothbrush and razor. Coin laundry and ice machine were also available. Free luggage storage and scale for weighting the luggage were also available at the lobby which can come in handy before you leave for the airport.
Cons: The hotel lobby is located on the second floor with a stair to climb up to. If you are traveling with heavy luggages, there is one elevator at the back entrance of the hotel. The location of the ground level elevator is a bit hard to find and the entrance to the elevator feels like a loading area (which is probably what it is intended to be used for. Otherwise, this is an awesome stay!

Good location, close to station, good value for money
Pros: Very good location, close to station. Elevator to reception is a bit hidden on the backside of the building though. Quick check-in. Room per usual small but this is the norm for all hotels in Tokyo. Think rooms is fairly recently renovated looked very new. Bed bit firmer than normal. Biggest drawback that could be a problem is that heating/AC is centrally controlled. When I arrived it had been a very warm day in Tokyo so was extremely hot in room and no way to turn heater to cooling. Should be noted windows could at least be opened (but as hotel is close to station you will hear trains). But in overall for the price I paid I would still stay at this hotel next time.
Cons: Prefer individual room control of heating/cooling.
