Tokyu Stay Yotsuya - Shinjuku Area

Convenient location, great room facilities

Pros: The location is very convenient, close to Yotsuya station which has great access to both Shinjuku and Tokyo station with JR and subway lines. The room is spacious and has a washing machine and dining facility, so we could wash clothes whenever we want and could buy bread from nice bakeries outside and have it as breakfast in the room. This was my second time staying this hotel. I noticed they replaced air conditioner, washing machines, wall paper and decors etc to new ones, and they gave us extra comfort.

Price/ Performance and great location to the Park.

Pros: Friendly staff always trying to help. Smiley face at all times…Comfortable sitting area at the lobby floor, enjoy afternoon tea and relax. Many thanks to Anne and Aoi 🤗🙏.

Cons: Urgent renovation to bathroom…

Perfect

Pros: Perfect, especially with the last minute fare. Having a washing machine (and dryer) is really a bonus on the last days before flying home. The room is big enough for Tokyo. Very quiet and bed comfortable. . The front desk was very kind, and helpful.

Pros: Staff were welcoming and spoke amazing English (a bonus, not an expectation) Room was big, with its own little balcony. Family mart at the door step great for early morning / late night food runs. Super close to the metro, 5 minute walk. Would definitely stay again

Pros: Location was superb. Initially the heating made the room very dry but the humidifier provided was a life saver !

Cons: The room was very small (although kind of expectedly)

Pros: All good: nice building with courtyard, studio apartment with space for suitcases and stuff, washing machine + dryer in the apartment very easy to use (detergent is provided. The “hall” is a common area with coffee machines, a few sofas, a couple of children toys, and a long table (we had dinner with combini food there). Great location near small supermarkets and metro station. Breakfast at St Marc by Yotsuya metro is super.

Wonderful would definitely come again

Pros: Was clean, close to transportation, staff were friendly especially Anna who went out of her way to showcase facilities and helpful information. We also loved the free beverages especially matcha latte.

Cons: The doona (quilt) kept sliding off the bed.

Convenient little friendly place but not the cleanest rooms.

Pros: Fairly central to where we needed to go with our trip plans, the front desk staff were wonderful. Very spacious room for those travelling with checked luggage

Cons: Our room was incredibly dirty which we didn’t notice at first as we arrived fairly late and just wanted to sleep. The bathroom and bath had black long hairs everywhere which neither myself or my husband have black hair. The scum buildup under the sink was alarming and I had to clean it myself, along with the bathtub. There were old cigarettes on the balcony under the aircon unit, moisturiser tube under the bed and all other bits of rubbish like drink lids and plastic wrappers. A lot of dust beneath furniture, it’s clear nothing is detail cleaned. My husband actually caught the flu for half our stay. Even though he was very vigilant with mask while on public transport and in public spaces. We have a suspicion that he had contracted the flu from the unclean room. The staff were great once alerted to the condition of the room. But this was our honeymoon, shot down with illness and didn’t expect it to be this unsanitary for ¥330,000. Our accomodation in Osaka was far cleaner and cost way less, disappointing.

Pros: So spacious and just what you need when traveling in a large group. Kids loved it. Having washing machine was great especially when late summer in Tokyo is warm and we were all sweaty after a day out. Having a Convenience store ground level really helped also.

Overall a very comfortable stay. Good value for money.

Pros: Relatively spacious room, nice view of the city. Loved the washing machine and microwave in the room. Enjoyed the bath in the bathroom. There is a small balcony too. Also liked the fact that there is complementary coffee, soft drinks, some pastries and nuts available. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The room is a bit dated. No full room service.
