Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo

Really a nice experience

Pros: Nice hotel with a relaxing vibe, friendly staff and beautiful garden.

Cons: For the breakfast always serving the same menu, it would be appreciated if they could make small changes, just to don’t get bored having same food over again depending how long you stay.

Truly magical stay. This hotel is exceptional

Pros: Loved everything about the hotel. The room was spectacular and the staff care was exceptional.

Cons: Location meant travelling to different places but seemed to be in the middle of all major spots.

Probably not the best hotel for sightseeing in central Tokyo

Pros: Huge room with beautiful classic decor. We had a large corner room with a view of the amazing garden. We stayed 4 nights. At first it was good because its appears less likely to be filled with overseas tourists and felt more authentically Japanese. The restaurants nearby that we went to weren't at all touristy either, and that was good. The walk to the station along the canal on the walking path was lovely.

Cons: Unfortunately we seemed to spend a lot of time on trains going to central Tokyo. We got home late every night due to catching mostly public transport and that seemed to be the good part of an hour every evening. If the hotel ran a shuttle to the train station that would make a difference, but there were only taxis (of which there were always many waiting out the front). Also the breakfast didn't give you much choice. It's lovely hotel but I think we would stay more centrally next time. Also the pillow were terrible!

We overall enjoyed our stay at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. It was easy to get around using public transport as a bus station

Pros: We enjoyed the older style decor, the staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.

Cons: I didn’t like that the pool or spa was not included in our stay. It was disappointing to find out that even hotel guests have to pay to enjoy the facilities.

A true Japanese experience.

Pros: Everything was great. A very hospitable traditional hotel.

Pros: Loved our stay here what a beautiful hotel in lovely neighbourhood. Large room city view was lovely, bathroom toiletries great. The garden was amazinggg what a retreat, sea of clouds and Aurora forest lights wow. Felt like a real relaxing stay, a resort like feel in a city. Gorgeous staff all round, fab food, buffet breakfast was best the days it was on. See you again Hotel Chinzanso.

Pros: A mistifying experience, the hotel rooms were large, clean & comfortable & the gardens are beautiful, it’s like experiencing all of Japan in the one place. Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing time, a true luxury treat given to myself to be pampered.

Pros: It is a very luxury hotel with beautiful gardens. The staff are impecable and are available to help with anything you need. The restaurants on the premises are all very good and you have a wide variety to choose from. The views from the room of the garden and Tokyo skyline in the background are breathtaking. Can not speak highly enough of this hotel, it is a luxury and priced at the higher end but very much worth the price.

Cons: There is nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Pros: The hotel is so beautiful that it is a tourist site in itself, every corner of it is carefully designed and a pleasure to walk around. Furthermore, the garden and pool are also very beautiful, so the hotel has an additional value. The staff is very nice and very helpful. I felt like I was welcomed every time I arrived. I would like to note that the concierge services are great and her recommendations added a lot of value to our trip.

Cons: The hotel is far from the center, which on the one hand allows for relaxation and quiet, but on the other hand is only suitable for those who are willing to use taxis a lot.
