Pros: Rooms were large. Comfortable and large bathrooms as well. Very unique for Tokyo
Cons: It was a little far from most metro stations, although that was solved by either their shuttle bus or a brisk walk to waseda station

Pros: I have come here quite often. This time the price was quite high, but the value is good and there are no surprises here. The staff is very polite and kind. Processes somehow bureaucratic. They could train some of the people in English, but that is a minor issue. Outstanding breakfast.

Pros: The hotel staff was impressively friendly and helpful. The interior might be a bit old fashioned, but with a calm and luxurious atmosphere of grandeur. Very big room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of Western and Japanese delicacies. As in all upper class hotels, there was also a chef preparing egg omelettes. Don't get fooled about the rather unspectacular neighbourhood; there are a lot of small, very affordable and good restaurants because of the Waseda university campus nearby.

Very good and pleasant stay!! Would recommend to tourists who have ALOT of luggages!
Pros: The location was great! The hotel is suitable for large families as the rooms were exceptionally large. The facilities were complete and very good and there were a few restaurants to choose from if you are lazy to roam around during winter. The morning breakfast ends a bit too early in the morning at 9.30am, so this was not very friendly for us tourists. The hotel rooms were well stocked with essentials for travellers but the rooms were not cleaned properly - but this is not a big complaint as the rooms were large and generally well maintained for such an old hotel. Overall, a high recommend for tourists and business travellers who don’t want to live right in the buzz of Shinjuku and want a bit more peace and quiet and don’t mind the 10mins drive to downtown Shinjuku.
Cons: The rooms have a quite a lot of detailing in architecture and decor, but weren’t really cleaned in attention to detail as the lamps and a/c panels had a lot of dust on them. But overall not a big complain as the rooms were generally well cleaned I.e floor, beds, and towels were changed and laid for us neatly and tidily daily.

Pros: The staff were wonderful The hotel quality was amazing
Cons: The beds were not terribly comfortable It was a tight squeeze having four of us in the room with two extra beds added It is not terribly close to attractions, however the ease of Japanese public transport still makes this a great place to stay. We used the metro subway each day to get out exploring Tokyo. It's only about 7 minutes walk to the station and we felt very safe walking even late at night

Our stay was perfect for our family of 10 people ages 1-75!
Pros: The breakfast was incredible! It was nice having The First Store in the lobby for items we needed. THE STAFF WAS GREAT! The gentleman and woman who checked us in were especially friendly and helpful! We appreciated their help in arranging luggage transport to our Disney resort! We also liked having a bed under the bed to pull out.
Cons: Nothing that I know of. The rooms were well-maintained and even the cleaning staff was helpful and friendly.
