Best stay

Pros: Most beautiful room I have ever stayed in in Tokyo. Staff is perfect and I couldn't find fault if I wanted to. The gym as well as the pool are amazing.

A nice hotel centrally located

Pros: Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, good choice of in house restaurants.

Pros: The hotel was great, staff are all so helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay special. The area the hotel is in is really lovely, with shops and restaurants on the doorstep and within easy reach. The gym/pool area at the hotel is fab to use after a long day of walking the city. Restaurants on site served really great food which made it easy if you needed something without going out.

Pros: Great location in Roppongi Hills, as expected from a 5 star hotel the service was impeccable Some comments I read on here said maybe dated furniture but I liked it - high quality furnishings that felt comfortable and the bed was incredibly comfortable

Great Roppongi station base,let down by hard beds, tired/damp rooms and cramped gym with bad AC

Pros: The hotel is part of a large shopping precinct/mall which connects to Roponggi station. The proximity to the station is super convenient. The shops are very high end, luxury boutique brands - Prada, Gucci, Balenciaga etc. The rooms were at a good standard, clean and and staff were always friendly. Its close to some great cafes, shops and restaurants too.

Cons: The beds were atrocious! Super hard. They tried to resolve the issue by adding layers to the mattress, but it was still so rock hard and it made it hard to get a good nights rest. Being we were so busy during the days and nights, the sleep needed to be restorative which it wasn't. Our room also had a damp smell to it which i couldn't quite locate but the rooms are a little dated and tired looking. The rooms service is crazy expensive for the most basic of foods so best you go out and explore the surrounding restaurants and cafes instead where possible. The gym could use a revamp... its quite segregated and cramped. There's no room for floor work and you have go downstairs and get a mat near the pool instead, annoying when you have to carry weights around. The AC also was terrible in the gym and almost non existent - i'm not sure why! I would've also liked to have seen a staff member there wiping down machines between uses so you don't waste time, looking for the wipe station and doing this everytime yourself. Hygiene should be prioritised in a cramped gym setting of a so called 5 star hotel.

Sevice that exceed the 5 star when is possible

Pros: I arrived at the hotel as part of a family trip, but was suddenly faced with a serious issue due to an accident that occurred at another location, which required an urgent visit to the hospital. The entire staff—and especially the concierge manager—went above and beyond to organize support all the way to the hospital. They arranged for the necessary equipment to transport my family member and took care of my son while I spoke with the doctors. Their help in the following days was truly exemplary, far exceeding any expectations or obligations. Absolutely incredible and exceptional!

Cons: all fantastic and already the best possible

Pros: It is close to shops and quite place and where you can find variety of types of food, everything is fabulous

Great first stop in Japan

Pros: Good location for summer visit to Japan. Walk to underground mainly through air conditioned mall. Kids enjoyed the breakfast. Matcha pastel de nata a particular hit

Cons: The family changing pool room at the pool lacked the shower faciluties on the ladies changing room. Good hours for kids at the pool.

Pros: Location, Art Deco Interior Design, Room Size and Excellent Service.

Cons: No airport shuttle

Pros: Exceptional Service！ I am very grateful to the staff at Grand Hyatt Tokyo for their exceptional support. When my luggage was delayed in transit from Kyoto, the staff proactively contacted the courier company and ensured it was delivered to my room before I returned. Thanks to their help, I was able to catch my flight on time without any stress. Truly excellent service!
