Location, Location, Location

Pros: The location of the property could not have been more perfect: located between two 7-Eleven convenience stores, 6-8 minute walk from Shinjuku-Sanchome Station's C7 exit, 10 minute walk to and from Kabukicho, and plenty of restaurants and stores within a short walking distance from the property. I loved that there were 9 full sized beds, and two bathrooms, one upstairs and the other downstairs. Plenty of space for a large group to enjoy their stay in Tokyo with maximum comfortability. The abundance of AC units in each room gave us much needed respite from Japan's summer humidity and heat. Overall, I would rate this place a 9/10, and would stay here again in the future if I were to visit Japan with a large group.

Cons: We heard rats in the ceiling on several occasions, and in the family room, there were small bugs upon close inspection of the tatami mats. Some of the doors had loose handles that needed tightening with a screwdriver, and one of the rooms upstairs had a handle that could be locked from the outside only, which was a bit odd and somewhat comical. The stairs were narrow and steep, and the hand rail was a bit loose.
