Lovely apartment with a wonderful host

Pros: Loved staying here, and only wish I could have for longer! Firstly the host is probably one of the most helpful and friendly I've ever had in my years of travelling- and I didn't even meet her! However, she was available via Whatsapp during the lead-up to, and during, my stay and was honestly so great at sending me recommendations for things in the area, and any questions around checking in. The bed was also the comfiest I've had in Tokyo so far. The area was super quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Ikebukuro, but still not too far a walk from anything. Had everything I needed for a 3 night stay, especially how compact the apartment is!

Cons: The space was fine for a solo traveller, but I think would be too small for a couple as it's very compact. The ladder up to the mezzanine was also a little bit scary to climb!

Good days in Tokyo

Pros: It's located in a very beautiful and quiet area, with great connections to the Yamanote Line, and the bed is super comfortable too! ❤️

Pros: Everything was good including the connection with renter that was very good and pleasant and they were very kind. it's not too far from a very big train station and the area is very nice and lots of restaurants and places to work

Cons: The toilet and bathroom are very small especially for tall guy like me

Nice apartment for solo travelers or couples

Pros: The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area, conveniently close to Ikebukuro train station, which connects pretty well with the rest of Tokyo. The place was comfortable and cosy for my partner and me, we didn't encountered any issues during our stay. The owner was also very kind and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to visit nearby.

Cons: The only complaint we have about the apartment is that the bathroom door wouldn't close properly, meaning privacy inside wasn't really possible. Also, it takes about ten minutes on foot to get from the apartment to the station. We didn't mind walking that distance, but some people might find it far, so we thought we'd mention it just in case.

Pros: Fantastic location, very reactive host with excellent local recommendations! Great place to kick off your Tokyo trip, or a home base for a final week of shopping.

Excellent accommodation with good value for money

Pros: The property is well maintained with all the necessary facilities.

Pros: Nice size studio, has a lot of amenities, really great host also and very clean.

Cons: The size of the bathroom was a bit small in the room we were in.

Cosy and functional apartment in Ikebukuro

Pros: Kahoru was extremely helpful and gave me loads of useful tips. The apartment was cosy and clean.

Cons: It was a bit too small.
