Clean, spacious apartment in a very old building.

Pros: Spacious living area & bedrooms. Beautifully clean. New appliances. The host was very pleasant and allowed us to bring our bags before official check in. Beds are fabulously comfortable and the pillows are memory foam. Linen and towels are new and fresh.

Cons: The apartment is in a VERY old building and only one lift goes to their floor. Ceilings are very low in parts of the apartment and it is a hazard at night! Many of the cupboards were not empty & we could not use them (examples: kitchen and bathroom). There is limited crockery / kitchen utensils. IE: only 6 drinking glasses, small bowls and plates. No mugs or larger bowls! No vegetable peelers or strainers etc.

A Suprising Pleasant Stay in an Excellent Location in Shinjuku!

Pros: The location is excellent. The building is between Shinjuku-Sanchome and Higashi-Shinjuku Station and about 5 minutes walk to each of this stations. It is also walkable to Shinjuku Station area via Shinjuku-Sanchome Station and made it easy to access when we alighted at Shinjuku Bus Terminal using the airport limousine bus. There are several convenient stores around and a mini supermarket just a stone's throw away. Yayoitei Resturant is just beside the building. The apartment has a washing machine and we could bring the clothes to one of the 3 huge dryers at level 1 to dry. The 3 bedrooms can accommodate 6-8 pax is value for money for accommodating more than 4 pax. Almost all necessary amenities were available except dish washing detergent and sponge which I had bought and left there. Overall, it was a good stay!

Cons: The apartment was not that sound proof (like most apartments in Japan). We could hear sirens (from police cars & ambulance, may be) in the night. On some nights, we could hear drunkards shouting and talking very loudly.

Pros: This property location was very convenient, easy to access and so spacious and comfortable!! All the appliances, laundry and kitchen utensils were perfect and very clean!!

Cons: It was wonderful! Nothing bad to say. Easy to understand how everything worked.
