Pros: The place was very lovely and pleasant to stay at, especially for a solo traveler. I enjoyed how accessible and clear every information is, considering how clear the owners are with their rules and explanations. The station is indeed 12 minutes away towards Shibuya, but keep in mind you still have to walk to the station 10-15 minutes. The staff was lovely and perceptive of messages, the room was clean and more spacious than I imagined it to be. Overall, very good price and location!

Pros: The room is compact, but it has everything: kitchen, toilet, even a small bathtub. The location is good, around 15 minutes to the closest railway station. The walls are thick, no worries about the noise. The rules can feel overwhelming and too much, but in the end, we never had any problems with them.

Cons: Even though the room was clean, it was dusty under the bed and on the air con. If you have an allergy it can create some problems. But the owners are helpful, and, if you notify them in advance, I think they will clean it up before your stay. The floor in the bathroom can be pretty cold, if you want maximum comfort, better bring your slippers.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was exactly as described, and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Everything was well prepared and easy to use, including the air conditioning, bed, and super basic amenities. The host was very clear and responsive with communication. For the price, it is an excellent value in Tokyo, especially being close to Shibuya by train.

Cons: The room is tiny but it was already mentioned in the listing, and it was perfect for a short stay.

It was good to have my own space to come back to after a busy day of sightseeing.

Pros: Staying at Better Than Outside was a great experience. The place is small, but very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed.Fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a fridge, microwave, and even a washing machine. I was traveling alone, and I felt very safe because there were many security cameras outside the property. Even though it’s a self-check-in place without staff, the safety measures gave me peace of mind. I also liked that the cameras have a two-way communication function, which made me feel even more secure. The location requires a bit of walking from the station, but the neighborhood is quiet and safe, and it was easy to reach central Tokyo.

I stayed here for 9 nights, this room is located in really quiet area so I could sleep comfortably every day.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable place. Smooth and fast Internet connection.

Loved it, would stay again

Pros: This place is a hidden gem! Cute, clean, and quiet. I needed a place to stay while I was apartment searching in Japan, and this place came in a clutch! The price was great, especially on a last minute purchase. Had everything I needed from necessities, google tv, and a desk and chairs. Everything for easy liven life. The key is attached to a lock box on the door, which was nice because I probably would have lost it with everything going. 4 minute walk to the bus or 12 minutes to the train station. Two convenience stores 4 minutes away in 2 different directions, or if you wanted to cook, there is a local grocery mart a block up the road and they have plenty of prepped food as well! Shower works great! And there is some storage space above the bed! The bed was super comfy, and had a very nice mattress. Hangers to hang your clothes after you wash me the the provide washing machine, etc. 10 out of 10, recommend!!
