ZAITO Waseda Terra Hotel

Central, comfortable clean apartment with river view in university district

Pros: Clean. Comfortable with comfortable beds. Nice location, quiet and with views of the river through big window. Central location accessible to tram and subway. Great value for money

Good experience

Pros: Next to a road suitable for ubers to pick you up easily, nearby a tram line and a few good bus lines, acouple minutes away from a 7/11, very nice owner as they replied instantly to any questions we had, near alot of nice cafes such as a jazz cafe which we visited regularly, closest to one of our favourite locations which was ikebukuro.

Cons: Only having one key made things more complicated as there was 3 of us, the washing machine didnt work great, like it couldnt properly dry clothing, while it is close to bus lines etc its not extremely convenient in comparison to other places ive stayed.

Modern good location

Pros: It is a modern apartment. Compact but so are most 2 bedrooms in Tokyo. It is located close to Waseda Tram and not too far from Takadanobaba Station.

Cons: The entry stairs are tight so you need to be able to take your suitcases up the stairs

Pros: Location close to amenities and transportation. Cleanliness and availability of all in-house facilities.

Cons: Nothing particular, just that the rooms were very small for a group of 5 but I guess that's the size of hotels in Tokyo.

Great hotel in Tokyo with lovely host

Pros: Lovely host with quick responses. The hotel was easy to get into, we loved the location. Very easy to get into the city, but quite enough to enjoy a coffee and sandwich in a nearby coffee shop. The room has everything you need from iron, washing machine, kitchen amenities, fast WiFi and more. Definitely worth it.

Pros: We liked how roomy the place was, with everything we needed(aminities). The place is super calm, with easy access to stations to move around the City. Thank you

Cons: It could bother some that there isn't any elevator. But otherwise nothing else.

Pros: Very near the Waseda Tram stop wbich is awesome for day trips. The accamadation faces a river chanel so pleasant for walking.

Cons: The shoebox size.

Great place to stay out of the hype of Tokyo plenty of little restaurants and supermarkets, laundry close by. Very well

Pros: Very tidy apartment, recent renovation by the looks. Conveniently located very close to waseda tram which made it super easy to get to various train stations. As we were going to Olympic stadium and baseball daily, the bus to and from waseda university made this easy and stress free (only a 5min flat walk).

Cons: We were fine with it but some people may not like the no lift stairs only

Clean, comfortable and well looked after.

Pros: Loved the bathroom and the two rooms to sleep in, with the bedroom having a door to maintain privacy. I love Japanese bathrooms with doors to the toilet and then to the shower with the sink in the middle so that 2 people can use the bathroom if need be. Very clean and well looked after. Bedding was cozy and all very comfortable. The suite had everything needed except a coffee machine. We in the Western world love to wake up and have a brewed cup of coffee so a small coffee maker would have been appreciated. I’ve been in other places that have tea and coffee available for 1 night so if you get in late your needs are taken care of for the first morning.

Cons: It was a little difficult to get into the first time and with no personal staff you always wonder if you’ll be stranded on the doorstep. After we worked it out the first time it was fine after that.

Pros: The hotel is very nice and clean. It is the biggest one we stayed at. Very nice. The owner very nice too.

Cons: It’s not very near any tourist area, which is good and bad. We had to take like 2 different buses or trains to get to any place, but at the same time, it makes it a very nice and calm neighborhood, and gives you the Japan experience
