Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel, there’s free coffee for everyone, and we especially liked it during breakfast

Pros: The location is very accessible to train station and convenience stores.

Cons: The stairs going up to the reception.

Pros: The location was good. Close to Shinjuku and very close to the local railway station. Plenty of small grocery shops close by as well as eateries. The room was spacious and everything worked.

Cons: Navigating the stairs at the front was a challenge with luggage as there is no lift to street level. On leaving the guy on reception was great. He helped us carry our gear down the stairs. The alleyway next door can be noisy with workers making an early start.

Best value for money + convenient location

Pros: - my go to hotel in Tokyo! Best value for money for a basic hotel in a great location (books out fast) - Sits between 2 JR stations - Supermarket and Don Quijote right next door. Great for shopping. Many combini and ATMs in the area - Always felt safe with this location - staff are nice

Cons: - Stayed on 6F which has the smokers lounge. The smoke travels into the non-smoking rooms. Avoid if possible - It's a very cheap hotel in a great location so things like stairs to the lobby, older hotel and hard bed are minor issues

Pros: Very convenient - very close to train station and several 7/11s; located on an interesting street. Staff friendly and helpful, and lobby floor lounge area was spacious. Good hotel for families.

Cons: The 6th floor lounge could do with a refresh. Stairs from entrance to lobby didn’t bother us, but could be an issue for some.

Pros: Very good location... very near shin okubo station on yamanote green line.... plenty of eating shops just along the road.. reasonable room rates for the stay.

Cons: Nothing, considering the price of room rates you pay for in Tokyo.

Very nice place to stay

Pros: Staff was kind and helpful, room was clean and comfortable with all necessary facilities, location was great.

Cons: Unlike stated, breakfast was not available, but there are plenty of convenience stores in the street, so this wasn't an issue.

A two star hotel with 5 star service and location!

Pros: A fantastic hotel super close to Shin-Okubo or Okubo station. We had a family room and it had two double beds and we fit comfortably. Lots of dining and shopping close by
