Pros: Great location close to a number of metro and train lines, well served by local shops and restaurants. Everything was immaculate and the ability to wash and dry clothes was a god-send at the start of a long tour.

Spacious and clean house with easy access to everywhere in Tokyo.

Pros: K House was in a perfect location to access the hot spots in Tokyo. It was easy access to the train (200 metres) and was surrounded by convenience stores and a few local restaurants. There was a large supermarket an easy walk or train stop away. The house was well set up for cooking and we enjoyed having a comfy couch to watch Netflix and YouTube after a long day out exploring. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful apartment in quiet area with wonderful owners.

Pros: Everything! Beautiful apartment in quiet residential area. Very easy access to commuter train across the road to Ueno or Nippori stations, allowing multiple options for connections to JR lines and the metro. Many nice restaurants nearby recommended by the owners. Very comfortable king sized beds in both bedrooms. The owners, Edward and Kaho were extremely helpful and friendly, and were very responsive to any communications we had. We have travelled the world and I would have to say that they were the nicest people we have ever had to deal with.

Cons: Nothing for us, but the apartment is set on three levels so probably not suitable for people with significant mobility issues.

K - House. Great for self sufficiency.

Pros: Very Comfortable. Close to Public Transport. Spacious. Able to be self sufficient. Small grocery store nearby. Excellent Decor. Restaurants of many different types nearby. ( Not just Japanese). 3 stories. Bathroom/Laundry at bottom. Lounge/Kitchen in middle. 2 bedrooms top floor. Toilet on every floor. Kitchen with everything you need TV in each bedroom + Lounge, all with Netflix. Fast WiFi. Hosts very friendly. They have thought of everything!

Cons: Would be difficult for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Only 1 set of keys so difficult if people coming and going at different times. (But we managed).
