Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo

Cozy hostel near Asakusa station

Pros: The location is good. It is just 1-2 minute walk from one of the asakusa station exits. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The little lounge and bar are cozy and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and clean, and the space is big enough to put my luggage. The bathrooms are also clean and very functional.

Cons: So far so good. There is no elevator in the building, but the staff is very helpful in carrying my luggage to level 2.

Pros: The location and staff were good. They deliver what they promise.

I stayed at the same hotel for the second time and didn't look for anywhere else.

Pros: The location was great, and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and warm people. What more could you ask for?

Great hostel in Asakusa

A great stay as always

Pros: I've stayed at Chapter Two five or six times now. I always come back when I'm visiting Asakusa - sure you can find cheaper places, but the great location, great staff, comfortable lounge, and consistently enjoyable guests make this place a winner for me.

Impressive hostel in asakusa

Pros: Nice location. Many warm and useful design like bar, luggage locker, lounge

Cons: Too narrow, but this is very Tokyo

My first stay in Japan 🇯🇵 was a great start!

Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the little lounge areas they had. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Loved the location, so close to train station and close to the river so you can go for a walk or run.

Cons: Nothing!

Wonderful, would return again

Pros: It’s a great location, very close to train stations. It is kept very clean at all times of the day. Even though I initially thought there were not enough bathrooms, I never had any trouble waiting for a shower. Staff are really lovely.

Cons: There is a small lockable box and shelf your bed for storage, but if you have a large suitcase you might need to leave it on the floor

Great location and great host

Pros: Owner is very nice and welcoming. He has lots of recommendations and tells you extra extra to ask him anytime if you need something. The facilities are small but the beds are comfy and spacious! The location is great! I think I would come back

Cons: It was quite cold during the night and I don’t know why? Maybe the window was open on purpose (November is quite cold). I think that should be changed

Walkable to Tobu Asakusa stn for Nikko

Pros: Great location in asakusa. Booked it as we need to get on the earliest train from Tobu Asakusa to Nikko. It was just around 10-15 minutes walk from the accommodation.

Cons: Really really steep stairs. Be extra careful if you're bringing your luggage. We were just using backpack as our luggages were sent directly to Nikko using yamato from narita airport.
