Focus Kuramae

Pros: Most things were great. Everything was easy and love the complmentary earplugs and stuff in bathroom.

Cons: Only things we didnt like was the lack of space and the room had nowhere to store our bags it was very messy system. Also the bunk beds were a little noisy.

Pros: It was super clean, the staff was friendly + the bedroom and bathroom were pretty too. No complaints!

Pros: Everything 🌟 1) The location was great; it was so nice to come back to a peaceful space at the end of the day after experiencing the hustle and bustle of the city. 2) The staff were great; helpful in all aspects and thorough. They always made sure to say hi when you arrive / goodbye when you leave. This was especially nice as someone who is not entirely fluent in Japanese; it made me feel connected. 3) It was also very clean! 4) Having an all-female dorm to stay in also made my stay feel more safe (speaking as a solo female traveller). And having female-only washrooms was great also. 5) Had a lift! So helpful when you’ve been lugging bags around the stations all day.

Cons: When booking, I was skeptical of the bunks having blinds and not doors to their entrances. This was not as much of a bother as I thought. But in terms of privacy, I always prefer having a completely shut door to my bunk than blind.

Pros: Clean environment. Friendly people. Secure place to stay.

Pros: Even if tiny, room and bed are confortable & clean. In general, team is friendly and speaks good english. Possibilty to exchange with the team and other travellers. Enjoyed the smoking area on the roof top. Share kitchen welle esuipped and appreciated !

Cons: Staying in a tiny single, I missed a shelf to let a few things out my backpacker and a towel bar to dry towel. Staying 3 nights in a pretty expensive private I did not intend to pay to have a fresh face towel... The 2nd floor is dedicated to Sauna & Spa, and a good 1/3 dedeicated to outside customers of the Café, making the commun area a bit tiny too.

Good service

Pros: Very friendly staff, comfortable lobby, good location with a metro station 5 minutes away by foot. I found it esay to talk to other travelers compared to other hostel in the area. The common areas are cleaned every day.

Cons: Guests with heavy Snoring at night, or dirtying common areas.

Lovely stay in a great hostel

Pros: I had a very nice stay. I almosts stayed for one week and it was always very nice to stay in the common area and be surrounded by people. I would really recommend that hostel and would definitely come back.

Cons: The lockers to leave valuable stuff are very small so I couldn't store my laptop in it.
