Pros: The young Indian(?) guy at reception went out of his way to find a solution to our questions about internet. (For Uber you need internet access from the street outside, or with a view onto the street, not just from your room). Solution: Use the WiFi Hotaku.Cafe, which is on 1st (Japanese 2nd) floor, overlooking the street.

Hidden Gem if you're willing to walk 10 minutes from train station

Pros: The room at hotel hotaku was bigger than those at hotels where we've paid twice as much. The hotel, while small, is very clean and close enough to Kanda or Akihabari stations. It is on a quiet street, far enough away from the crowds at Akihabari, yet close enough to walk to Electric City and enjoy the shopping and sites. Staff was very nice and very helpful.

Cons: To be able to check in, you must complete the forms as you would at a hotel, on-line. This includes providing a picture of your passport. You are then given a QR code and pin. It's not complicated, we just didn't notice this when we reserved the room. However, there is someone at the lobby who will help you check in.

Pros: Lage sehr gut, U-Bahn gleich um die Ecke. Sehr kleines Zimmer, aber ausreichend für 1-2 Nächte. Bad auch klein, aber ok. Sehr ruhig.
