Easy access in the heart of Tokyo

Pros: Good location close to multiple train options, very easy luggage storage prior to check in. This bidet was also cool, auto flush!

Cons: Pillows were a bit low in profile, was not comfortable to sit up in bed since these were on the floor and moved a little bit

Exceptional Property

Pros: Had an amazing stay at Hotel Otaku Akihabara. The hotel is really nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming—special mention to the manager, who personally helped us with every single query we had and made sure our stay was smooth and stress-free. The location is perfect: very close to the metro station with excellent connectivity. Plus, there’s a halal ramen restaurant just a 1-minute walk away, which was a huge bonus for us. Highly recommended—would definitely stay here again! 😊

Nice stay in a great location

Pros: Great location close to Akihabara and other transport links; Room was reasonalbe size, we were able to fit our 2 big suitcases inside; They also have a small dining room with microwawe, which we haven't used but which is a nice feature; Furtiture was nothing special but it was functional which is what's necessary; We didn't have any trouble sleeping, it's on a pretty quite street. Overall, we were happy with out stay, especially for very competetive price if you book well in advance

Cons: It wasn't as cleaned as I'd hope it to be; We needed to move a bit nightstand to put our belongings and there was a ton of dust and some dirt behind; Granted, you don't expect visitors to move things but I'd hope stuff like that cleaned a bit more thoroughly once per month or so

Pros: Clean hotel with good location, but not ideal for light sleepers

Cons: This hotel uses self check-in, which is convenient and easy to use. The room was reasonably clean and well maintained. The location is good not too far from Akihabara, and it is possible to walk there. However, one downside is that the walls are quite thin. During my stay, the room next door had three guests (one man and two women) who were very noisy, laughing and dropping things throughout the night. The noise continued until I had to ask the staff to help notify them. Because of this, the hotel may not be suitable for light sleepers. Other than the noise issue, everything else was acceptable.

A comfortable, friendly and good place to stay in a fairly central district of Tokyo

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was only a few minutes walk to the busy core of the Akihabara district (the well connected complex of stations) but on the quiet side of the Kanda River, with a nice small supermarket close at hand. Even closer (3 minutes walk) was Iwamotocho station, which gets you to Shinjuku on the Shinjuku line with no changes. At about the same distance as Akihabara, Kanda station on the Ginza line is also a useful option.

Cons: The carpet! But we liked the painted ceiling. Somehow, not necessarily any fault of the hotel, my booking through Booking.com was hacked, and I received phishing messages via WhatsApp. My recommendation is (with all similar bookings), be alert, communicate only via the messaging on Booking.com. Neither they nor the hotel will use messaging apps, or email to ask for payment or card details or other personal information. Check in in person on arrival.

Pros: Very friendly staff with excellent english. 15 minute walk from Akihabara and 8-13 minute walk to various stations. Nice room size.

Cons: Bed is a bit hard. Only very few interesting food options nearby

Pros: The hotel is located in a quiet area, not so far from Akihabara station on foot. They reply messages fast and are very helpful.
