Delightful Hotel

Pros: We enjoyed the corner room, it was a good size for the location and very well appointed. The breakfast was delughtful. Beautifully made and changing enough that after a week one was not bored. Selection of teas wonderful. The staff were lovely, patient and helpful. The location was quiet and conveniently located to metro, parks, walking distance to Ginza, Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower. 4th visit to Tokyo, best hotel to date, would stay at 1899 again.

Cons: Can't think of anything.

Pros: Lovely staff and excellent (free) tea in the morning and afternoon. The room was slightly bigger than usual in Tokyo. The hotel is modern and very clean. You might need to walk a little bit more than usual to reach the metro, but not more than 15 min.

Really enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Very stylish hotel, the tea theme is cleverly celebrated throughout the space and it feels like a more expensive hotel than it is. Staff were welcoming and helpful, loved the selection of free tea available too. The room itself was compact but well appointed, had everything I needed and very clean and comfortable. I didn't try the café downstairs but I did purchase some tea as gifts from the shop in reception, which was apparently delicious. Also a great location; Hamamatsucho / Shimbashi are so convenient for both general travel around Tokyo but also getting to and from Haneda Airport.

Cons: A tiny thing, but my room tablet controller stopped working on my second-to-last day (I believe the charging port was faulty), which didn't cause me any problems but the whole system did seem somewhat over-engineered as you could still control the air conditioning manually without using it.

Pros: Our 4th time in this lovely hotel. Everyone and everything is just perfect. Cleanliness fantastic, breakfast very well organised, lovely tea inspired food and fantastic staff, again spotlessly clean! Thank you all for yet another fantastic stay!

High quality hotel - highly recommend!

Pros: Everything about this hotel was absolute perfection! From the staff at the point of check-in right up to check-out, everything was perfect. The hotel is in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre yet still within walking distance to some major attractions. The theme of the hotel is creative and soothing - tea theme! I love tea - obsessed, and definitely the theme was present throughout the hotel - especially in the rooms. The room was very spacious, well equipped and quiet. Staff were polite, professional, warm, kind and very helpful! I would happily stay here again when I am back in Tokyo!

Cons: Nothing! Perfect! Highly recommend!
