TOKYO EAST SIDE HOTEL KAIE

A good stay outside of Tokyo but close enough by train.

Pros: The room was great. The bed, shower and space of the room was fantastic. I like that there was a vending machine on 2 floors and a landry (coin operated 700 yen for 3 kgs wash and dry). My friend loved the buffet breakfast and it was opposite the Shiomi train station, supermarket and a few marts (Family, mini etc). The staff were friendly and helpful and there some nice photographic areas to take photos (loved the fish tand design in the lobby).

Great spacious rooms with a live kitchen chef!

Pros: We liked that they had scaled to measure the weight of luggage, we found this to be very useful on check out. We also very much enjoyed the breakfast and the live kitchen chef. The omelettes were very tasty! Room also was very spacious and clean. Great room service too.

Cons: Nothing in particular. Maybe the location isn't so great compared to one more central, however it is near a train station so it's bearable. I imagine most will use this hotel to go to teamLab Planets and Disney as it's closer

Perfect

Pros: So clean, modern and fresh. Housekeeping to clean the room every day was fantastic. A bit far out but close enough as the hotel is across the road from the JR station. The hotel was lovely and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Pros: Transportation is convenient as the hotel just opposite Shaomi railway station . There are quite some restaurants within walking distance within 10 min.

Cons: Limited car park is a concern for those who drive.

Excellent location

Pros: The room was excellent, my teenagers enjoyed the bunks. Train station is directly across the road, it’s very quick to get to Tokyo Station. Supermarket and Family Mart very convenient.

Pros: The location was great - close to Tokyo station but away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely and relaxing to come back to after a hard day touring. Rooms are also more spacious than other more convenient locations so it’s a trade off. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with storing all our luggage prior to our arrival and once we checked out for a few hours before our airport pickup. Loved the relaxing foyer and separate dining area for guests.

Cons: Nothing really - only one minor thing not much around area in terms of restaurants but again a trade off because 50m from train station to take you anywhere you want to go. Newer rooms our older teenage kids had nicer bathroom and more space than the older section we were in but overall still good.

Great Location, good breakfast

Pros: Located across the road from Shiomi train station just a few stops away from Tokyo Station. Awesome breakfast, nice quiet room.

Cons: We arrived as a large group of 7 people (3 rooms) at 2.30pm and we were unable to check in. We could understand not getting the keys until 3pm but it took over 20 minutes to carry out the check in procedure and then EVERYONE wanted to check in all at once. So there was 20+ people waiting to check in - could easily have been avoided.

Pros: Peaceful location which was superbly near a train station. Big supermarket nearby too. Quadruple room was extremely spacious and had fantastic coffee machine & coffee. Spa lovers will love the selection of bath salts and bubble bath
