Great budget hotel in Tokyo's Korean town
Pros: Located in Korean town in Tokyo, it's 1 train stop away from Shinjuku which you can actually walk over to for around 15 minutes. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby (2 Donkis within 10 minutes) and a 7-11 just at the corner. Though small-ish which is typical of Japan accommodations, size is enough for a few days stay. Basic amenities are also sufficient.
Cons: AC did not function consistently, good thing the winter weather did not make it such a big problem for us. It's also a slight hassle to need to leave the key everytime you go out, nut not big deal..

Pros: The room was quite big and clean. We enjoyed having our own mini bath tub and enough space to open all our luggage on the floor AND still be able to walk in the room. The staff was helpful when I contacted them to help me before our arrival to book a restaurant. The location is perfect, as it's less than 5min walk from the train station, and it's located on a side road, so the room is quiet at night.
Cons: The only thing is the accommodation before the check-in time (3pm). There is only 1 small toilet, no mirror and no sink where you can quickly refresh yourself after a long flight. But apart from that, it's a very good value for money!

A fun stay with everything we needed, close to shopping and eating out places.
Pros: The location is awesome, right in the middle of Korea town, the train station and the food choices were amazing. The room was in a quiet side street though so we didn't hear any outside noise. The room was bigger than any of the other hotels we stayed at and the layout of the room was really quirky, kind of like a little mini-apartment so it was pretty cool. Enough room to have both large suitcases open the whole time AND still walk around. The bathroom was old but kinda quirky too. The lift was handy and there was usually someone on reception for anything we needed. While it is a bit older, everything was still super clean and felt kinda like a home for the few days we were there.
Cons: There was nowhere to put the shower head except for at waist height so that was a bit annoying but the water pressure was great so it didn't bother us that much. It would make it hard to to wash hair though.

Very comfortable
Pros: Very spacious rooms, my friends and I travelled across Japan and this was definitely the most comfortable stay. The triple room has 3 single beds and lots of room to move around, the shower room is also bigger than the average.
Cons: There is a strong drain smell, which the staff warns you about. But both shower room and toilet have vents and you can easily open the windows. There is also an air conditioner to help with that

Cozy, authentic, good location, chill staff, smoking area outside
Pros: Location is perfect for visiting all main tourist spots. There are many shops and cafes around, including 7/11 just around the corner. Could be a bit noisy at night, not for families, but perfect for solo/couple visit who likes evening/night activities.
Cons: Overall good for the price, can't find anything bad about it.

Comfortable as it says Cocochi
Pros: *Was spacious enough for a couple. *Provided humidifier. *Cleaning everyday if needed.
Cons: *The door lock was problematic. You need a bit of knack to lock & unlock. We needed some assistance from a staff. *The smell of the bathroom is uninviting. We didn't use the bathtub, but used shower only, which was excellent with a string water pressure.

Pros: Clean and convenient. Very near to subway station and convenient stores. However, most of the restaurant nearby were Korean restaurants. Room was big enough for my family of 3 persons. A small sitting area on tatami enough for us to enjoy some drinks after a whole day sightseeing.
Cons: On the first night after using the bathroom to take bath, there was foul smell from the bathroom. So we have to close the sliding door leading to our room. However, the 2nd night, it was better.
