Awesome stay with onsen open to tattooed people

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and even lended me an umbrella when it rained. Also, the onsen on the last floor is open to guests with tattoos which was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was also very accomodating on the day of my check in and I could leave my luggage in the morning (check in was at 3 PM). My room was also right next to the elevator and I didn't hear any noise from that.

Cons: During my last night I could hear the guests in the room above me, jumping around and slamming doors until midnight. The ventilation in the bathroom was loud but I don't think much can be done about that.

Perfect to explore Asakusa & Ueno

Pros: Location was great for Asakusa, Sky tree and Ueno Park, with metro stations and convenience stores less than 5 min walking distance away. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Really good value for money.

Cons: Space is tight if you’re a family of 5 like us and traveling with many suitcases.

Great value for money

Pros: It is in a great location, on a side street so it's not too busy, but right between Asakusa and Ueno, and super easy to get everywhere on the subway. The rooftop onsen really makes it worthwhile. There is also a coin laundry right next door (no detergent needed) if your clothes need a refresh.

Good value and has open air bath

Pros: The room is ok size for Japanese hotels. Beds are nice, I recommend Japanese-style room. Free amenities in the room and free ramen at night. Reception staff is very helpful. Amazing open air bath on the top floor, tattoo friendly.

Cons: Honestly for the price it's fantastic.

Pros: Very good location, relatively close to the Ueno station and the Asakusa station. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean, but pretty small.
