Best hotel location and vibe
Pros: This hotel is literally in the best location in central Tokyo, has the best restaurants in just 2-5 minute walk. Bed was comfortable, large, we LOVED the old school radio in the wall besides the bed.
Cons: The view was tiny and not so nice, it's very bad that we cannot open the window in my opinion, we had to open the door to the corridor to air out the room. Regarding space and views, I'm guessing this is normal as the area there is even more cramped than others. The reception staff was ok but not the friendliest we've encountered.

I would defiantly go back.
Pros: It was very convenient and for a solo traveller it was good. I would go back. Not a fancy hotel a bit old school. Beds comfy and great blockout blinds. It was quiet which is also good.
Cons: Just a bit dated a bit like going back in time. But nothing wrong with that!

Pros: Despite the hotel furnishings being on the older side, everything worked well including older radio fixtures and taps. Amenities were good and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast choices are good once then become a bit same-same.

Nice hotel but non smoking room still smelt of smoke!
Pros: Location was easy to find and was in a nice quiet spot out of the way from the main area. The room was a decent size with quite a large fridge, larger than anywhere else we’ve stayed in Japan. Staff were friendly enough.
Cons: We asked for a non smoking room and when we first entered the room it had a strange smell, like the over use of air freshener to disguise a smell. Upon closing the curtains there was a horrid stale smoke smell. That’s the only bad thing I could really say about the hotel.
