Nagomi Hotel Nippori

Pros: The location is nice, has shops nearby and train station.

Cons: The interior is a bit old

Pros: Staff were fantastic and the variety of room options were great for tourists as well as a great price with friendly staff

Cons: The closest train is off of the major line so i was often walking 10 minutes to another stop. Odd floor elevations made a small room feel even smaller.

Pros: The hotel is very close to the JR station and the room was spacious!

Nice clean and comfortable King Suite for 4 adults - value for money

Pros: Close to the JR Mikawashima station, 1 min, but a bit inconvenient because need to ride 1 stop to Nippori to join the JR Yamanoate stop. Nearby 7 Eleven. The room is able to accommodate a family of 4 adults quite comfortably. Big room 30m2 by Tokyo standards. Clean and well equipped for a short stay. Nice that the bath/shower and toilet are separate. Bath room has heating and drying facilities which is nice We arrived early in the morning after a longish flight and were lucky that the staff was kind so we were able to check in straight away instead of waiting until 3 pm.

Cons: A bit inconvenient because need to ride 1 stop to Nippori to join the JR Yamanoate stop. The area is a bit sleepy. Not many places are open for breakfast. Not the hotels fault but the Korean restaurant across the road which was open for breakfast was rather expensive. No washer or dryer at the facility. Tatami mattresses were thin. The western King bed was fine.

Great stay, view and neighborhood

Pros: The hotel is in a lively but not too busy neighborhood. The building itself is a bit outdated, but it doesn't really matter when you have a room that spacious (biggest room we have had since traveling to Japan). The man at the reception is very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable overall and had a great view. I loved the stay here, both for the location that made me feel a bit less of a tourist and more of a person that lives in Tokyo and for the room itself.

Cons: Nothing that really affected our stay, as I already stated, the building is a bit old and maybe needs a renovation in some part, but I would stay here again, no doubt.

Comfortable

Pros: The room was well presented and clean, with good air-conditioning and a private bathroom.

Cons: The hotel is located in a residential area with a number of good choices for eating nearby but was located on a side-track to the main train lines. The hotel lacks laundry services, but we located a good laundry about 5 minutes walk away that operated 24 hours per day with good machines.

Easy place to start exploring Tokyo from

Pros: Great location in quiet Nippori area, close to a supermarket, subway line and food options. The bed was really comfortable and rooms were quiet. Very close to the fabric town area.

Cons: The bathroom had a musty smell so we opened the window during the day and left the fan on in the bathroom mostly. Was fine doing that.

Great location, great size rooms, and helpful staff

Pros: Great location!!! 1 min from mikawashima station, really good restaurants all around, very close to nippori station as well. We slept on futons and had an amazing first experience in japan. There’s an elevator and the staff was very helpful, clean and super big bathroom. Loved it!!

Pros: I liked interior design of the hotel and I enjoyed sleeping on the tatami. the location was also beside a drug store and close to the train station. for a solo traveller this was a good place.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were fantastic — clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The amenities provided added a great touch to the overall experience. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!
