Everything fantastic, but know what to expect

Pros: The location was only 5-10 minutes away from Senso-Ji, 14 minutes away from Minowa station on the Hibuya line, so extremely central. We walked to Ueno (~30 minutes) which is also a central transport hub. Also there's a convenience store across the road, and plenty of food stores near by. The place was very clean, the only staff I saw were cleaners but were very friendly. All facilities I was expecting were there with a couple of other bits which were a delightful bonus and it was more traditional than I was anticipating, which was great. Checking in and out was very easy and there's a smoking balcony on every floor for non smoking rooms. I would rebook if I planned to return to Asakusa / Ueno end of Tokyo. Also, great public bathhouse less than 15 minutes away.

Cons: The location itself was a bit noisy if the window was left open but not unmanageable. Otherwise there's no easy way to say this as a foreign woman, but this might not be suitable for certain people. The street is lined with middle aged male touts trying to convince Japanese men to enjoy a soapland bath. Foreign women who realise what these buildings are may become uncomfortable without other travellers with them (not concerned for themselves - you will be left fully alone) and foreign men may be hassled, although only one of these had a sign saying \

Great for its price

Pros: Very big spacious rooms with tatami. Clean. Good aircon system. Lack of reception desk. Soapland street.

Cons: No proper curtains. A lot of light coming in. Bad odor from shower drain sometimes. Lack of reception desk. Long walk to any closest station. Soapland street.

If you want to stay a few days in Tokyo and you want to avoid staying in the crowded areas, I would recommend this locat

Pros: It was a very cute quiet are . The property was very clean and calm. They even had a laundry service which you could use.

Pros: Everything about the hotel is perfect. The cleanliness and facilities are exceptional. The check-in process is easy, and the washroom, beds, and heaters make our stay comfy. Will definitely stay here once again

Pros: La position de l hotel , la laverie , la chambre était clean et comme sur les photos, le rapport qualité prix excellent Si j y retournerai oui cent fois .

Cons: L eau chaude parfois n arrivait pas à notre retour à l hotel donc j ai pris des douches au milieu de la nuit, un autre souci c est que la nuit pas de personnel , pas de caméras , on y entre sans soucis

Pros: Excellent rapport qualité-prix compte tenu de l'emplacement.

Cons: Malgré le fait que l'hôtel soit entouré de soapland, et qu'il soit impossible de baisser la température du chauffage de la chambre...

Pros: We had a very comfortable stay and would happily choose this hotel again. Everything felt well thought out, from the perfect indoor temperature to the high-quality mattress. Even the warm toilet seats were a small but very welcome detail. The room had everything we needed: fridge, desk, and enough space to feel functional. Laundry and drying services were extremely convenient and easy to use. Check-in was smooth and straightforward. The location is in a calm area, with bus stops nearby and a 24-hour market right across the street. Overall, a practical, comfortable hotel that makes traveling much easier!

Good value for a solo traveler.

Pros: I got a good sized room with private bath at very good rate.

Cons: The check in process is a little bit different but manageable after a phone call to customer service.
