Hotel Apartment Ueno Inaricho Sta

Pros: The apartment was neat & tidy and convenient to the local Inaricho station. Beds were comfortable and the key code access was super easy and meant no need to worry about a key.

Pros: Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place near Ueno. The accommodation is clean, well maintained, and the host is very flexible. The location is excellent, with a large supermarket right in front and easy access to Shibuya, Tokyo, Asakusa, and Shinjuku—especially convenient with a direct line to Shibuya. The windows are large, so it can feel a bit cold in winter, but closing the curtains and using the heater and extra bedding made it perfectly comfortable.

Pros: The queen size beds and doonas were very warm and comfortable. Close to metro stations, food and convenience stores. Short train trips to attractions in Tokyo. The code system to unlock the door allowed us freedom to not worry about keys or door cards.

Cons: Pillows weren't comfortable for side-sleepers.

OVERALL GOOD STAY FOR THE PRICE

Pros: My family of 4 stayed here for 6+5 nights total. Location is good for those who prefer to be away from the crowds and in a quiet area of Ueno but the Ginza Line Inaricho station is just a short walk away which is very helpful. It is also very convenient to have food option such as McDonald's/Sukiya and Family Mart/Maruetsu minimart just a short walk away. For the room, we had 3 Queen sized bed, washing machine, aircon and heating, vacuum cleaner, fridge all stated when you book. Room is very clean so no issues. There is no reception but no issue as the hotel had What's App communication if there is anything you need. If you need to dry clothes fast, you will need to go downstairs pay for the wash and dry. We will be staying at this place again if we ever come back to Tokyo.

Cons: The pillow was too soft and small.

Pros: Very good stay. Host was very prompt with replies. Size was perfect, just enough for us and we had everything we need.

Pros: Quick replies from the host and a really nice apartment with good space. We loved our stay.

Perfect base to explore Tokyo

Pros: We stayed here for 5 nights and it was worth every cent. The location is fantastic, right next to Inaricho Station, with the Ginza Line taking you easily to many of Tokyo’s best areas. It’s also just one stop from Ueno Station, where you can access the Yamanote Line, Shinkansen, and the Keisei Skyliner to Narita. Asakusa and Ameyoko are also within walking distance. The unit itself was spotless, well equipped, and very comfortable. I even managed to do a 10km morning run from the apartment to Sumida Park and along the Sumida River. There are plenty of kombinis around, plus a 24h supermarket nearby. The surroundings are calm and peaceful at night. Highly recommended

Pros: This is a gorgeous, spacious apartment in a brilliant location. It was perfect for our group of three adults.

10/10 Ueno

Pros: Excellent location near Ueno Station, with easy walking access to Ueno Park, the zoo, and nearby museums. The included amenities were a nice touch, especially the green tea provided by the host. The area is quieter than most parts of Tokyo, and we experienced no noise issues from either the hotel or the neighborhood. Clear instructions were provided, and communication was quick and helpful. Also, the pillows were the most comfortable we’ve had so far in Japan! :)

Cons: It was a bit of a squeeze for two of us in the 20 m² room, but honestly, for Tokyo standards, it was probably still on the roomier side! :)
