Comfortable and convenient for family and friend.

Pros: This was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The area is very quiet and yet it is close to several public transport options. The facilities are ideal for families or small groups. Two double beds and a single fold out bed. I would stay here again.

Cons: Stairs are narrow and steep. Have to be careful with luggage. Would not suit someone with knee problems. It helped my fitness though!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Japan. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was cozy and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is excellent—very accessible to Ueno Train Station, with both 7-Eleven and FamilyMart just a short walk away, which was incredibly convenient. The service was outstanding. The host was helpful, responsive, and quick to reply to any queries. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the entire stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Cons: 3 floors, climbing stairs was not easy with my injured leg. There is only one toilet so its a hassle to go toilet from level 3 to level 1.

Pros: Kenki Ueno House is well-situated in the Ueno District which has a great park and a range of museums close by. The unit is compact (as many Tokyo units are). So you enter on the ground floor, take off your shoes and put on slippers. The toilet, laundry bathroom are on that level. Upstairs is the lounge and kitchen with a small balcony. On the top level are the two bedrooms. So you get very organised about what needs to go up and down the stairs. So enjoy, Tokyo is an amazing city to visit.

Cons: My only suggestions would be a bit more information about the hot water system (which you need to press the on button on the box on the wall). The kitchen is basic but most travellers would be eating out or getting takeaways.

Great location, clean, comfortable. Loved it

Pros: We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. The house is a short walk to Ueno station and restaurants, Ginza line for Asakusa and Ginza, Oedo line for Shinjuku. It is a quiet street. The house is very clean and beds were comfortable. I recommend for a family or 2 couples.

Cons: As others have said, the staircase probably isn’t great for people with mobility issues or maybe toddlers. No other complaints.

Pros: Great location. 3 Stations within walking distance. Lots of small restaurants and bars nearby. Very comfortable and clean, quiet neighbourhood.

Cons: Elderly or people with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs (Bedrooms on the 3rd floor with the toilet on the ground floor) This was not a problem for us.

We enjoy this clean house and its fully equipped household appliances.

Pros: It is a clean 3-floor house equipped with all kinds of household appliances and even plates and chopsticks. You could cook in the house if you like. The location is good.It takes about 7 minutes walk to the train station.

Cons: Since it is a 3-floor house, you need to use the stairs to go to washroom. It may not be convenient for the senior citizens to live in.

Petite maison trés pratique au coeur de Tokyo

Pros: Petite maison très calme et confortable non loin du quartier très animé de la gare de Ueno. Tous les principaux sites sont à 20/30 mn de métro. Ne pas manquer le paec de Ueno, le musée national du Japon et les temples magnifiques encore un peu délaissés par les touristes voyant le monde à travers Instagram.

Cons: L'escalier pourrait donner du fil à retordre à des personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité.
