Pros: Good location. Easy walk to metro. Clean, tidy and good facilities

Pros: Great location. Easy to book and get access. Train station within easy walking distance.

Pros: I love the location and the bigger space offered. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Ken's Place is in a really quiet location. Great for families for that little bit of extra room.

Pros: Ken's place was really clean and wasn't too bad in size for japan. Really quiet location and very helpful and responsive with messaging.

Cons: It was maybe a bit further from main areas than I had realised.

Great facilities - very clean and had all what we needed!

Pros: Clean, had somewhere to sit! Kitchen facilities were good! Didn’t have to worry about a key!

Cons: The drying cupboard didn’t work the greatest - not enough towels

Nice and clean, great location, rather small for 3 prople

Pros: The apartment was very nice and clean. The location was great. The check-in process was easy and quick and the „key“ was a code which was convenient. There was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, a hairdryer and towels - everything we needed was there.

Cons: We had one bed and one futon bed and we were 3 people, so it was very cramped. To be able to use the futon bed, we needed to make room, but it was hard to find a place to put the other stuff. However, this the only thing that bothered us a bit. And besides, since we just spent time at the apartment to sleep, it wssn‘t such a big problem.

Close to outstanding!

Pros: First, it is imperative to mention that I have lived in Japan for over 7 years, which is why I am quite familiar with the country and its specifics. Sublime location - in the very heart of Tokyo, a few meters away from the bustling streets of Minato-ku. The size of the property was decent enough, especially when considering average living area standards in Japan, and Tokyo in particular. The apartment was in mint condition - something expected in this part of the world.

Cons: I do understand and appreciate Japanese punctuality, but given that the property is unmanned - there is no staff onsite to assist - I suggest that you amend your self-check-in system and allow for visitors to check in slightly earlier than the official check-in time. Specifically, I arrived at the property at 14:55, but the system did not permit check-in until exactly 15:00 (*BTW, I had requested an early check-in in advance, but unfortunately, this was never acknowledged). As a result, I had to wait until the clock struck 15:00 to proceed, which felt unnecessarily rigid. I would understand if I were attempting to check in 30 minutes early, but in this case, it was just a matter of 5 minutes. Additionally, I attempted to contact the property using the designated “urgent” phone number, but none of my calls were answered—neither on the Japanese nor the English line. The rest was outstanding.

Cozy and large

Pros: Very quiet neighborhood, close to metro station and large space compare with regular hotel in Tokyo

Cons: N/A

Pros: Great room, a lot of space for Tokyo. Very new and clean.

Cons: This has a self check-in process (no issues with this) and when checking in, you need a 6 digit PIN/code to commence the process. Booking this through Booking.com I did not receive a 6 digit code and so had to contact the company via the booking.com chat at the time. This was very frustrating for me, however they did respond very quickly with the 6 digit code. If you don't receive the code in email I suggest you contact Kens place directly before you have to check-in.

Great stay in a great location

Pros: The location was great and the place was very clean and comfortable.

Cons: Would have been nice to have coffee available. Also would be nice to have perhaps folding chairs or tables that you could set up in the corridor in case someone wakes up before others, otherwise they need to sit on the floor . I understand that it would be a hazard in an emergency, but having perhaps seats that are attached to the wall and fold up when you stand up.
