Ken's Place四谷

Very comfortable property in a Shinjuku suburb.

Pros: Very comfortable and spacious one bedroom apartment with a sofa lounge area, providing ample space for two adults with luggages. I believe the single rooms are very small though. Quiet neighbourhood, and a short 5 minutes walk away from the well connected subway lines, around 3 stops to central Shinjuku Station. There are numerous eateries around, but it isn't the central part of Shinjuku, so it does get sleepy at night.

Cons: Ours was a basement unit with a mezzanine attic, so not much by way of view or sunlight but it was fine. If you are looking to stay in downtown central Shinjuku with the major buzz, lights and shops within walking distance, then Ken's Place wouldn't be suitable for you.

Great and affordable place, well lockated

Pros: Perfect equipped. Super localised, quiet and well communicated (5 min walk to Subway station), two markets open 24h by apartment, lots of cosy restaurants near by

Cons: Not enough space for two person with two registered baggage’s

Ken's Place is great.

Pros: Close to train stations, also had some good food near by. Quiet little place in a cute alley.

Cons: I didn't like the sign up service, had to fill out a lot of forms that seemed unnecessary. No where else requires that level of information.

Pros: It was a nice and quiet location. Really easy check in/check out process and the communication from staff was clear and helpful! The room had quite a lot of space and was very comfortable - can fit 3 suitcases

Cons: The neighbourhood is in a place you’re more likely to get turned away from restaurants as a tourist, so we ate elsewhere

Pros: Good spot, close to stations. Clean, practical with a washer and drying room, and very comfortable bed. Make aire you get dinner one night at the restaurant across the street called “Nonki”.

Cons: Check in process can be difficult. Make sure you have access to the email that tells you what the building access code is (this is seperate to the check in link you get).

If you want private place good choice for Tokyo.

Pros: I liked the neighbourhood it was in a bit more chill than the busy areas like shibuya but still very close. The apartment had everything needed and was perfect little space for solo traveler might feel a bit small for two people.

Cons: The check in process is definitely overly complicated with the tablet and needing to call someone virtually to verify ID. I think it could be streamlined. You could hear other flats noise but it wasn’t too bad.

Pros: Everything you need, high quality little bite and bobs everywhere in the flat. Great location, comfy bed.

Cons: Obviously space is limited anywhere in central Tokyo but this is great for a few days to a week exploring

Great location in lovely happening neighbourhood close to lots of food!

Pros: The location was fantastic! Great places to eat all around and easy to get to and from transport and quite central in terms of getting to many different places across Tokyo. We enjoyed the neighbourhood, wandering around and seeing the supermarket and doing karaoke till late in the night one night! Look for the cat with a microphone! The room was nice and it's a stylish building from the outside. The shower also doubled as a dryer and there was a washing machine so it was easy to clean and dry clothes! We were out and about a lot during our stay and this was a nice little cosy place to come back to.

Cons: The room was small but probably average for Tokyo, I'd still stay again

Pros: The room is very clean, cozy and convenient. I like the kitchen & the toilet very much :D The room almost has everything you need even for a quite long trip.

Cons: Though the room is quite small, it's normal in Japan so doesn't matter. The process to receive key to enter room is quite complicated and due to system issue, we could only enter the room till late at night :(

Pros: Very stylish and comfortable room. Large bed and spacious bathroom (by Tokyo standards.) Kitchen with all the necessary equipment for short-term living. Great and atmospheric location with lots of cafes and photo spots nearby.
