Mi-HOTEL OTSUKA

Pros: Cute and cozy apartment, it was very helpful that there was a washing machine in the property, 10 minute walk to the train, nice restaurants in the area

Cons: It was difficult to open the door. It turns out you just had to pull it very hard. It wasn't clear at first.

Pros: The location is amazing. Very quiet and still very good connection in any direction you would want to travel. Very good restaurants in the neighborhood as well. The room was a nice size, and I really liked how well it was stocked. The bathroom especially felt like a great size (and was bigger than I expected).

Cons: I only booked for one person, so I would have liked if the couch bed wasn't made up upon arrival. While it was easy to do on my own, the space under the couch bed wasn't clean (but loved the amount of cleaning items in the flat – allowed me to clean throughout my stay).

Pros: Great value for money. Nice big room with all the facilities you need. Also a good location if you want something cheaper but not too far from the central areas. 5-10 min walk from otsuka station.

Cons: Check-in process was a mess. Had to pre-check-in but still hadn't received information on which room number we were staying in or a code, so had to call them for that information. Another family checked in the next day and I could see they had the same issue. It's also a lot of stairs to drag up your luggage.

Spacious and comfortable place to explore Tokyo

Pros: Great location, close to the subway station (otsuka) and lots of stores and restaurants nearby, while the street is in a quiet area. Spacious room. The bed and bathroom were comfortable too, and Netflix on the tv which is a plus. Its also nice you have your own washing machine and theres a clothing drying function in the bathroom.

Cons: The light in the bedroom was very bright, while there was only one small atmosphere lamp. So either it was too bright or too dark. Some more atmosphere lamps would make it better. There were people smoking daily downstairs at the entrance of the building and we could smell it inside when the windows were open. We also didnt had room service during our 6 day stay.

Pros: Clean & Enough space for 3persons. 10mins away from Otsuka station. Price is reasonable as Tokyo is very high demand.

Comfortable and convenient

Pros: Having a small kitchen and individual laundry facility is a big plus. I love the drying feature for the clothes. Location was also good.

Cons: Wasn’t really practical to cook. No elevators so a bit difficult if you have heavy luggage. Staircase also narrow

Pros: The room is spacious and bright, and the surrounding environment is quiet. Although there is no elevator, going up and down the stairs is still very convenient if you don't have much luggage.

Liked that it’s part of a Japanese neighborhood yet still close to all the places I need to get to. Yamanote sen is grea

Pros: The left like a little home away from home. Love being able to do laundry

Cons: The kitchen was a bit small. Couldn’t really cook much.

Otsuka spacious apartment

Pros: Otsuka was a hidden gem away from the crowds but such a great location on the Yamanote line, excellent little apartment, clean everything you need, the drying function in the bathroom to dry washing was fab.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect
