Hotel Amethyst

Solid, if small

Pros: It's a love hotel, so the bed is robust and comfortable. There is ample ventilation, a large bath, a hot shower, and an overhead music system. The location is quite close to the station. The staff are on the ball - despite needing to give your key up whenever you leave, I often had the paper slip waiting for me in the time it took to take the elevator.

Cons: It's a love hotel, so the room is very small. For a solo traveller, it was fine. The corridors are also quite narrow. There is no rail for hand or body towels, so I hung them on the bathroom door handle. On Friday night I could faintly hear happy noises from the neighbouring rooms. If you are of weak disposition, this may bother you.

Very good for people on a budget

Pros: Very close to Ikebukuro station, clean and comfortable. The people working here are extremely kind which was nice.

Cons: The area is a bit sketchy, I’d not recommend it for a woman traveling alone.

Pros: La ubicación, y la calidad -precio. El personal es muy amable y te guardan las maletas.

Cons: La habitación es estrecha.

Recommend for a short stay/rest only

Pros: Very decent facilities. Quite friendly staff. Very quiet.

Cons: Location is kind of far from the station in my opinion and the fact that there is only the one elevator are the two points I did not like about the property.

Pros: Es un love hotel como los demas dicen. Pero diria que la mayoria de la gente lo usa como un hotel de negocios. Cumple por el precio que ofrece. Limpieza y tranquilidad.

Repetiremos

Pros: La ubicación es muy buena, a 10 minutos andando de la estación de Ikebukuro. Es un love hotel, lo aclaro para posibles turistas que vayan a pasar varias noches consecutivas ahí porque hay ruido a lo largo de la noche, pero nada que no se pueda solucionar con tapones para los oídos (no los ofrecen de amenities asique comprarlos). En la entrada puedes escoger entre mucha variedad de amenities, incluyendo geles de ducha y champús especiales aunque en el baño haya. La habitación aunque pequeña está muy bien equipada, la cama y almohadas son muy cómodas y tener bañera es un plus. Lo único malo que vimos es que en uno de los pijamas habían manchas de lo que parecía aceite, pero de nuevo, se trata de un love hotel asique lo pasamos por alto porque realmente todo estaba limpio. El recepcionista fue amable y respondió mis dudas en todo momento. Volveremos a repetir sin duda.

Pros: 1人での利用だったのですが、部屋もバスルームも充分な広さで過ごしやすかったです。あまり不便さは感じられませんでした。チェックイン・チェックアウトと外出の受付もスムーズでした。部屋の中も暖かくて良かったです。

Cons: 普通に過ごす分にはあまり気にはなりませんでしたが、お手洗いのドアの建付けが少し悪かったです。それ以外は特にありません。
