Pros: Size of the room was great for family of 5. Easy check in and out process. Front desk and night staff very friendly and helpful. Many amenities and services available like child minding or luggage forwarding.

Cons: Area is very close to bars and clubs not family friendly walking area from the station. Lobby was very busy with lot of luggages for forwarding.

Phenomenal staff, great location on the other side of Tokyo we love it! Futon beds were so comfortable

Pros: For families and non Japanese speakers they’re phenomenal! Highly recommend them! Great kitchens, laundry, staff and location (except it being the 2nd biggest red light district in Tokyo)

Cons: A few streets away there’s a prominent red light district which is confronting with kids so just avoid it. Shinjuku is the same it’s not a big deal

We loved our apartment

Pros: We loved our apartment, it was so spacious and clean! All the amenities and facilities were great, such a good location too! It was easy to travel with the station close by.

Great family friendly hotel

Pros: Mimaru was really good. We really enjoyed our stay here, with the staff being fiendly, helpful and professional; the rooms were clean and spacious (especially for Tokyo) - and the kitchen much more functional than other places we'd stayed at.

Cons: The location is ok - but its not quite as central in Ikebukuro as you'd imagine.

Perfect location to be close enough to the tourist area of Tokyo yet far enough to remain sane.

Pros: Location was perfect, close to a huge selection of restaurants and minutes from the station. The Pokémon room was great with our kids.

Cons: The pillows. Yikes.

A great place to stay in Tokyo!

Pros: Staff were incredibly hospitable, & helpful. Location is perfect, close to everything but quiet. Room was fantastic & beds were super comfortable. There was even a suica travel card kiosk in the foyer!

Cons: Foyer was a little cramped at checkout time but otherwise nothing to fault.

Pros: Great location just a short walk from the Ilebukuro train station making it easy to get anywhere in Tokyo, Family Mart on the doorstep, two-bedroom apartment was fantastic (with washer / dryer in room!) and suited our family of six perfectly (kids aged 19, 17, 14 and 11), there was more than enough room for us all to spread out. The apartment and hotel overall were spotless and the reception staff were incredibly friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Would definitely stay again!

Pros: Location was great, close to so many places to eat, train, and welcome marts. The room was great for a family of 5, and the staff were exceptional. So very helpful - nothing was too hard, they happily accommodated all of our questions and needs.

Cons: The beds were a bit hard, but this seems to be typical in all of the hotels we stayed at in Japan.
