Prince Smart Inn Ebisu

A great stay, and great value for a few days in Tokyo

Pros: We had a wonderful a Prince Smart Ebisu. We stayed there twice at the beginning and end of our Japan trip. Location is excellent. Check-in and check-out are super easy. The rooms are simple but have everything you need, including comfy beds. The rooms are quiet. We had a huge window next to our bed with beautiful views. The free breakfast is good and the breakfast cafe area is bright and a great place to start your day.

Always the greatest stay.

Pros: One of the more comfortable stays in Tokyo, short walk to Ebisu, surrounded by amazing eateries. Staff were friendly

Great stay

Pros: The location of the hotel was super convenient for both walking and taking the metro. I really liked the view of my room and the size of it, it was much bigger than other hotels I have stayed in in Tokyo. The included breakfast was also a good addition to everything

Cons: The only thing that didn't make sense to me was that you can only use the luggage lockers before check in but not after? The staff were very helpful though and stored by bags after check out elsewhere but it just baffles me that you have these lockers but you can't use them

Pros: The location was excellent and the room was well equipped.

Cons: The included breakfast was not very appetising, we only ate it once.

Great location for a week exploring Tokyo

Pros: Hotel was in a great location right on the JR Yamanote line which meant we could travel pretty much anywhere around Tokyo in 30 mins or so. The Ebisu area is also lovely, and not too hectic like the Shinjuku, shibuya or other areas. Beds were comfy and the hotel let us check in early.

Cons: Rooms were small with no place to open your suitcase but to be expected from a Tokyo city hotel.

Pros: The hotel is located in Ebisu, a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to Shibuya, which is just one station away. However, there are plenty of places to go out and eat, and the area is very well connected to other destinations that are high on any tourist’s list. The room was spacious and clean. The staff has been very helpful - the receptionist who checked me in had the best level of English I’ve experienced with anyone during two weeks of traveling Japan.

Cons: Breakfast was quite underwhelming.

Pros: close to the station. Easy to commute. Offer easy breakfast which is great.

Pros: Great location, and perfect accomodation for our first night in Tokyo. We really liked the included breakfast and Ebisu.

Cons: Nothing. It was all great

Pros: Very comfortable and clean. Room was quite small and simple but had everything necessary. Liked that my bed was made every day.

Cons: The breakfast was very simple, and they were out of one of the 2 options. Green tea would have been nice. Don't love how impersonal and automated everything is.
