APA Hotel TKP Tokyo Nishi-Kasai

Comfortable and relaxing.

Pros: The room was spacious, and the bed was so comfy, I’ve never been to a hotel that was so generous with the amenities, and offering regular cleaning services too was amazing.

Cons: Not much I didn’t like to be fair, maybe it was a little bit tough to take care of rubbish and the washing was a bit pricey but only minor things

Pros: Great location. A bit tricky to get to from Narita. Lots of good food places nearby with an English menu option. The reception staff were very nice.

Cons: The bathroom was very small, but not unmanageable.

Nice experience

Pros: Proximity to the train station, restaurants and shopping mals. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.

Cons: Bathroom is small, but i guess that's the standard in Japan. But overall it was not a problem, my concern was really the cleanliness and it did not disappoint us.

Great location!

Pros: Literally a stone throw away from a train station. Food in the neighborhood is also super adorable. We stayed in 3 different APA hotels this trip and this one in Nishi-Kasai is the only one that offered bath salts to guests which helped with a long day of walking just to soak your feet!

Cons: Room is a bit small, but it's in a quiet neighborhood.

Pros: Great Location next to Train Station, next to many shops, restaurants and convenience stores. Despite the rooms being small (which is expected for Japanese standard), the service was great, breakfast was good. Great value for money! Highly recommend if you are staying in Tokyo🇯🇵

Cons: Rooms were small and cramped with no space to put clothes or suitcases.

Pros: The location is very convenient, and the place is clean. The staff are excellent, though it would be even better if they were more fluent in English. It’s not a necessity, but it would certainly be a bonus.

Cons: There was an emergency alarm at around 2:00 AM on July 27. Emergencies are unpredictable and often beyond our control, which is understandable. However, what I found concerning was the lack of clarity in the message/alert. It wasn’t the language used, but rather the content itself, the first announcement said there was nothing to worry about, then we were told to evacuate, and shortly after, everything was declared back to normal. Could the hotel please ensure that future announcements are clearer and more consistent? It would help avoid confusion and panic during already stressful situations. Regarding the property, I booked for three guests, but the room was initially set up for only two. While this was resolved promptly, it would have been better if the room had been properly prepared in advance. The trash bin in the bathroom was quite small, and the pillows were a bit too thin for our comfort. That said, these minor issues didn’t take away from the overall satisfaction we had during our stay.

Pros: A good hotel with surprisingly nice surroundings, including being close to a subway station, as well as a whole load of shops nearby. The staff was excellent and I appreciated the easy availability of information for travelling to city and the airports from the hotel.

Better Than Expected

Pros: I’ve stayed at APA Hotels in Japan before, but this one is my favourite. I didn’t expect this level of comfort, hospitality, and staff always ready to help. Clean, friendly, and in a good location. Even though it’s not in the centre of Tokyo, it was still easy to get around. Cozy and calm. I’ll definitely come back.

Cons: The only thing I didn’t really like was the pillow. I prefer to have a European-style one. But the bed made up for it. Soft, clean, and very comfortable. Slept really well.

Great place if u don't mind travelling out a bit

Pros: The hotel is less than 2 mins from the train station. Great shops and restaurants, etc, on ur doorstep. Ice, vending & 2 washing & drying machines in the lobby area and newspapers. There is a microwave too and bins under it. Easy check-in, nice biggish rooms compared to others in Tokyo. Great toiletries, shower gel shampoo & conditioner provided. Fresh towels left everyday housekeeping every 3 days. Very clean, comfortable beds and duvets. Great window with a view of the trains passing they were not loud and didn't disturb us at all, even nights with the window open. Great black out curtains. Umbrellas at reception to take a lend of. Restrooms down in the lobby, too. Metro museum is only a couple of stops away. Kettle, fridge and hairdryer in room. Trousers press available at the lift.

Cons: It is, however, 30 mins on the train in to most the better known parts of Tokyo. So if u miss the last train, u have a good taxi ride home. About 70 euro. The bathroom is quite small, and the step into the bath to shower is quite tall, & the door has frosted glass, so u can kind of see what's happening in there. Large step into the bathroom itself, too. Pillows are dreadful, like most hotels in Japan, so definitely bring ur own. Tv is big but all Japanese and not a smart tv. No wardrobes, 6 hangers on the wall, could definitely do with adding this in as there is space for them.

Pros: The location is the top-most advantage. Rooms are good.

Cons: Breakfast is a problem - they serve mostly Japanese breakfast. Veg Indians can eat the croissants, salad and milk and coffee only. Also, the staff is very unaccommodating. We had to leave the hotel at 6:30am for our tour to Mt. Fuji. Breakfast starts at 7am. We requested for just coffee and bread butter, which they refused and we had to leave the hotel starving. We couldn't have anything.
