Sakura Cross Hotel Ueno Okachimachi

Pros: Had a great stay. Just one night. But perfect for dropping down stuff and going out and about for the day.

Cons: Bit of a trek on foot from the station if you have littles. Still only ~20 minutes but for us was longer than expected.

Pros: Great use of space, beds were very comfortable. Fabulous location, beautiful park/playground across the road. Easy check in process, staff very helpful and responsive.

Great location

Pros: Room was very clean, in a great location and staff that we saw were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but clever design. Four of us had no problems. Plenty of power points to charge phones and a great shower. Nothing to complain about. Hotel is located on a really nice, quiet street but close to metro, 7-eleven, Lawson and a supermarket.

Cons: Everything was as expected or better.

Pros: Great option for 2 people, convinient self check-in

Cons: If there was a luggage storage option oy would be just perfect. But no real complaints :-)

Very comfortable and well-appointed, apartment style accomodation. Was perfect for group of 3. Recommended!!

Pros: Spacious, great layout, extremely comfortable beds and excellent location. Thoughtful separation of shower and toilet rooms for group travelling together. Walk to train station and lots of cute cafes and izakayas in neighbourhood

Cons: It’s wasn’t a problem for us, but not having a lift could be difficult for anyone who has heavy bags or mobility concerns (we were on very top floor)

Pros: It’s a nice place to stay, located close to the metro station and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Cons: The walls are not very soundproof, so noises from the hallway can be a bit loud.

Great location, clean room, lovely staff!

Pros: Location is great, very accessible— in a quieter part of Tokyo but very close to a subway station and all three major konbini and a supermarket.

Cons: There’s not much to complain about. The service is a very light touch, which is what I expected. Don’t expect them to be cleaning your rooms everyday or have room service available, it’s more like a very nice motel in that sense.

Pros: Location was great, good price, nice room, comfatbale beds, staff friendly and brought our suitcases to our room so we could have lunch

Cons: Stairways narrow and slippery. No lift. No extra space to store bags
