Great value, well presented room in a fantastic location with wonderful staff

Pros: Fantastic location - can be in Shibuya in 10 minutes and the hotel is only a short walk from the station. The neighbourhood itself is lovely with a distinctly local feel and lots of wonderful cafes, restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance of the hotel. A double room was plenty of space for me as a solo traveller, and although the bathroom is compact, you get used to it very quickly. The bed was comfortable, the air con and WiFi both worked well, and the room was very clean and well presented with towels refreshed and rubbish cleared every day and a full room and bathroom cleaning done every three days. All the staff I met were wonderful - very friendly whenever I saw them and went out of their way to help me with my luggage and make sure I had a taxi booked when checking out.

Cons: The stairs leading from street level to reception were a bit of a struggle with a large suitcase. The rooms aren’t the most soundproof so you do hear people coming and going but I never experienced any major issues with noise from other guests.

Pros: Exceptional staff, easy check in and check out, room always clean and tidy.

Cons: For a person of my size, the bathroom is a bit on the smaller side.

Pros: This hotel is located a few minutes by foot from Sangenjaya station. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities including tea. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is a supermarket and lots of local restaurants nearby.

Cons: Construction work was going on. Room was non smoking but kept smelling smoke down the hallway.

Pros: Great location in Sangenjaya. Friendly staff. Free snack service a nice treat. Clean room. Great value.

Cons: Laundry facilities limited for such a big hotel. Many steps to access the lobby and no assistance from staff. No business facilities or communal space.

Great affordable Tokyo hotel in an excellent location

Pros: Loved the location, which was in a fun area just a couple of stops on the train to Shibuya/Shinjuku, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, had a clean and compact bathroom, excellent air conditioning.

Cons: The steep front steps to reception were tough after a long day of walking, suggest making this clear as people with mobility issues would struggle to access this property.
